I don't know. Maybe. It is a very curious thing to have found. We went pretty deep inside of the tunnels before we came across it and it's an odd thing to find so deep inside of a place like that.
Not to mention, the rock formations were odd too. You could be right that it's serving as a distraction but right now, those tunnels are more curious than just about anything else in this place.
