Two suns...reminds me of home.
So does the heat. Although Tatooine, my home, was worse because it was a desert place.
It's a little better, though, really. At least it has water...not sure I'd have the supplies to cobble moisture vaporators together.
[Luke kinda thinks it's a cross between Tatooine and Yavin IV...a jungle with two suns. He'll manage, but he does wonder what his dad thinks.

Did you come through the battle all right?

I've been in a lot of different climates since I was a boy, but I think I'm happiest when it's warm but not too warm. I don't like extremes really.

Before Hadriel, I only lived in two places - there and in a city called Baltimore in another state - Maryland. I'm used to having seasons, but even summer was never this hot.

That's all I saw, at least. The stories go that it was once green and tropical, but it was bombarded by an ancient race. All that was left was desert. The things that led to my leaving home were very sad at times, but I hope I never have to go back there again. The other places I've lived have been much better for the most part. Except maybe for the ice planet.

I like seeing the seasons change, but compared to where we were before,it's just a little too much here, I agree.
Re: [Video: Private to Luke] (OOC ok to assume Luke found out who Padme is by then?)
I'm still trying to make sense of all the people who just arrived from home. There's a definite Dark Side user...he makes me uneasy. He seems to know me, but I don't know him. And Padme...it's amazing. I hope she is a comfort for you. I can see myself and Leia in her so much. I can't wait to get to know her better.

That is a grievous thing to hear. And it has not healed, in all that time! That poor world! I can understand why you would be glad to leave. And an ice planet? Never tell poor cousin Fingon about that!

Hoth, the ice world, did make a good place to hide for a while from the Empire that was hunting us, but I don't care to go back. I'm not sure who he is, but I won't.

It sounds a most interesting place, in truth - if dangerous! And do you mean the town you stayed in was far from the capital or that there was another ... ah, planet? that was the capital?

Another planet. Many races in our galaxy have had the means to travel long distances since ancient times, humans included. Normally, it would take a long time, but a way was found to make it a lot faster. Hyperdrive, we call it. But even as often as I travel through space, I'm still amazed at how it's possible.

Sometimes it is, yes. But it's brought me good things, too, opportunities I could not have had back home. Chances to know my family better...
[Video: Private to Luke] (I don't mind!)
[Don't make him come over there.]
Ah yeah... Him I... I saw. [And he knows who he is, but... That's difficult to get into.] She is really wonderful. I don't deserve her.

[Well, in a way his father did. Anakin was still trapped inside, but he was all but dead until Luke was able to reach him later.]
Re: [Video: Private to Luke] (I don't mind!)
I'm intact, yes. A little tired from all I've been doing, but nothing a little rest here and there and maybe a little meditation won't take care of.
You know, I think his name was mentioned once before. One of those who was here and then disappeared. But he can be discussed later.
[He nods.] She seems like it. I can see myself and Leia so much in her. I've seen for a while what we got from you, but now I can see more. I think Leia got a lot of what she has from her mother. I think we got a good combination of willingness to take risks and for the most part, a clear head to keep us from getting into something we regret.

Ai! That is a grief indeed - I am glad you have the chance to meet them here, then.

Thanks, it's going all right so far. A little awkward with them being younger than I, and a few family troubles, and I just met my mother, but so far so good.
