[ It's taken Arya a while to figure out how to use the phone properly, let alone consider posting to the network. But there's a question that's been on her mind ever since she arrived, and she figures it's about time to get it asked. ]

someone told me that people who have died in their own world can come here and live again. have you known anyone that's happened to? have they been happy to be alive again, or angry that they can't go home?

[ A moment later, another text. ]

i dont know what any of the machines in my kitchen are supposed to do. can someone help me out?

[Jo is one of those who's alive again, but...She's not exactly going to say that.]

I think most people are grateful for the chance.

All the machines here are a little weird. I can help?

[ Drake's decided not to hide that he's dead anymore... it was too hard fessing up to the people who became important to him, maybe it'll be easier being straight from the start. Not like it's the first thing he'll bring up in conversation, but since Arya's asking he might as well answer. ]

Count me as happy to be alive. I get why people are angry at being stuck here, especially with what they put us through, but there's also nothing to go home to? So it seems like a waste of energy to me.

I'm getting used to the idea.

[It took a while.]

Being here puts a different perspective on shit.

I know it's possible - I can't think of any specific examples at present - but it doesn't seem to be an oddity for any of the worlds I have visited - save Westeros.

(The next part she assumes is entirely reliant on the person in question.)

I can share what I know if you would like me to?

Dead woman talking. In two worlds over, actually.

Not sure about everyone else, but it can go either way for me depending on the day.
Sometimes I'm glad for the borrowed time
other times survivor's guilt is one helluva bitch.

I'd help you with your kitchen appliances but I'm just as terrible at using them honestly.

I've known a few people who have died and come back to Hadriel.

Whether they're happy or not depends on what kind of a life they've had here. If they have met friends or family again, then they tend to be happy to to be alive.

I was dead in my own world, myself. This is another chance for me, and I am not sorry for it. I have family here, whom I would not likely have seen again if it were not for these worlds that grab you and give you another life. And I have friendships that I value, and a lover I would not want to leave. I'm not always happy with the circumstances we find ourselves in, here, and I want to change them. But go back home? -- I don't think so. Not by my choice.

And I see that Sansa and Jo are offering to help you with the kitchen appliances, so you won't need me for that!

I cannot speak for the Reborn, but as one of those who has gained back the lost, I am happy to see them again.

I was revived upon my arrival here. I'm grateful to be alive, but have no intentions of returning home when I leave this place.

[another text follows upon the heels of the first]

Also, I didn't introduce myself properly when we first met. My name is Margaery Tyrell, once wife of King Tommen and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Figured I'd kill everyone involved.

[It's said rather blandly.]

Came here and nobody stays dead.

Mm, that is harder a proposition. I suppose for mine that is not such a concern for our world has passed out of our hands and into others. Our time is passed and so the wish to return is to see again our friends and family but not so much to rejoin a fight that is no longer ours.

Oh, I do plan to leave, eventually. What I want is to destroy the Null or somehow neutralize them as enemies, so that the gods may safely revive their former hosts.

They apparently have the remains of some of those beings, but Hope hasn't attempted a revival because he and the rest of the gods fear for them in this Null-infested part of the universe. It was the Null who decimated both races, the gods themselves and the gods' former hosts.

These former hosts were a race who were capable of feeling whatever emotion they chose to feel, at will. They did not mind doing it, and were not harmed by it. They fed the gods well and evidently benefited from what the gods could give. To hear Hope tell it, it was a match made in heaven. Unlike with us.
[ There may be just a little sarcasm in Curufin's voice here. ]

Then the gods won't need us, and we may be able to persuade them to give our experts access to the Door and figure out how it works, and modify it so that it can send people either home or to some other world of their choosing. Or maybe even back to their own worlds, but to a different time than they were pulled from. Those three options would cover anybody who wants to leave.

But my plan will consume a lot of time, and it is risky. I don't fear the risks. I'm a warrior as well as a craftsman, and both are professions that involve a lot of risk.
