But then again, neither is Lilith, nor has she ever been: she's a hunter, a cheat, a killer and a bandit and she makes no pretense of being anything but that. This is what she's always done. This is how she has always functioned-- taking her joyrides and chasing her thrills and getting what she could while she was able, even when whatever jobs or hits she's taken on have dirtied her hands.
It, too, has made her both a liar and a murderer: like Maketh, and like all the others. But she's doesn't care, and is in it for her own loot and her own skin-- nothing more. After the Guardian Angel led her headfirst into disaster, she should know this well: to be the one using somebody else, rather than the one being used.
