Doubtless am I that such a way of life may lead to one's survive—for a time. But there is weakness in that, as well as due limitations. There is far more to gain from cooperation with others, than to push ones self to the limits, and to shortly fall thereafter.

More supplies will not help you when the beasts of this world close in around you. Would it be that you had stout allies to help fend off the creatures, but myriad supplies will not keep you alive forever. To assume such shows no short supply of naivety, I fear.
