Some weeks ago there were many demons in this place - the skies had opened and they fell through the tears. Thankfully now the demons are gone, but there were other creatures left behind.

( It's likely that not everyone has noticed them, cities aren't often where they're found so the fennecs and nugs had likely stayed to the quieter areas, but she's already spoken to some about them )

These creatures are dear, and though they can care for themselves I have been make sure that they have been safe.

( Because even though they are wild creatures Leliana does love them )

I know that some have also been taken in. Should you need help, or wish one removing, I will be able to do so.

[No panicking, if you please; he ain't a demon. Just a skeleton who's got a fennec fox curled up and snoozing contentedly in his lap. Sans has one bony hand behind his skull, his sockets lidded. He's a bit, uh, animated for a skeleton. Don't worry about it. He's magic, he's a monster, it's all good.]

Suppose I should ask about the care and feeding of good ol' Mandelbrot here.

[The comm channel opens to Alphys holding a nug under one arm across it's middle, pressed to her body so she has a hand to fiddle with the communicator. The nug is squirming a little, but otherwise doesn't look displeased.]

Wait, you mean, uhm, t-these animals? Do you know their names? And uhm, there were other ones, too. The f-fuzzy ones?

[Well, the species name, at least, seeing as she and Sans hadn't felt right bringing them home without names. So here's Mandelbulb, or 'Bub' for short.]
