Howdy, everyone! Um, my name is Asriel. And I couldn't help but notice... I think we have new people showing up again? So I thought... well, I had an idea!

[He scuffles around a bit, clumsily adjusting the camera, and holds up a fistful of crayons. Black, blue, yellow, red, and half of a broken purple. Truly a magnificent rainbow this kid has scrounged up.]

Maybe we could make little badges? Or nametags? Something that says "I'm new and I might need help." And maybe people who wanted to help could... I don't know, wear "guide" badges? Nobody has to, I just figured... it's kind of scary when you first come here, right? Maybe it'd make settling in easier! And you wouldn't have to worry, because I'm really great at drawing, and I've got lots of paper and tape. I can make the badges all by myself!

...Um, but maybe try not to get them wet. I don't know how to get plastic, so it's just... paper.

Really?! That would be wonderful! I wasn't sure if anyone would like the idea or not, so... ha ha, I'm glad it doesn't sound stupid or anything! I hope we can all make the place feel really welcoming for people!

Right! And I, well... I think maybe one of the hardest parts of being new somewhere is making friends, right? So if people can see who's brand new, and those people can see who's willing to help them out, then they might not have to feel so alone, huh?

...That's what I hope, anyway. A prince's job is to be a goodwill ambassador and take care of the people who are counting on him, so I should be doing my very best!

I've already had one person say they'd help out! I didn't even ask for volunteers or anything, but people... the people here are pretty nice, aren't they?

[Better than he'd expected humans to be, some fearful little memory whispers, but he pushes it away. Chara's a human, and they're nice. Frisk's a human, and they're nice.

Well, nice apart from the whole killing thing. It's... not so easy to forget about Chara's limp body, even if he's supposed to forgive. How can he possibly not forgive when he killed Frisk so many times, over and over? It's hypocritical and cruel to be upset when he's guilty of so much worse.]

Huh? But why? It's like having the royal guard wear armor, or, um... or like how hall monitors wear those sashes. I mean, crayon might not look as official, but it's better than nothing, isn't it?

[He giggles, because even if they both know that, it's kind of cute and silly to call anyway. Maybe they're playing a trick, just like he and Chara used to. Maybe this counts as playing, so it proves they're learning to be friends!]

Help would be... that'd be really nice of you, Frisk. I didn't even think anyone else would want to make them too. I hope I have enough crayons!

Yeah! I mean, who needs help more than the newcomers, right? They don't know how anything works or where anything is, and they've been pulled away from their friends and family. It's a scary thing to have to deal with all by yourself, isn't it?

[Most of 'em won't go outta their way to hurt a little kid, at least. Not without Rage or someone else stirring up trouble to incite some quality violence. Or when demons come to play, real ones.
