[Prussia doesn't understand why he's on Team Delight, but that doesn't mean he's not going to help out. He wanted to do this plan, contest or no contest, so he might as well not wait on it any longer.]

okay, listen up losers

so many of you i've met here have been sad and mopey and jumpy like scared little mice. and i mean I GET IT, i've been here for like a month now and i've fought monsters and heard the stories and it all sucks. but seeing so many of you like this is just depressing okay, and it got me thinking

[That phase, coming from him, is never good.]

if i can get you guys exercising, in shape, and better at self defense, you'd all be better off. you'll feel better physically and mentally, and be able to handle yourself better in dangerous situations. look i have been through some shit in my lifetime but you don't see me moping! i'm still out there every day with a sword fighting monsters or exercising cuz if i just sit around in my apartment and stare at the walls, waiting for bad shit to happen to me, i'd be depressed and scared too. well i'm not so trust me! JOIN ME!!

[A bit hypocritical seeing as he's spent the last few decades lazing around in his brother's place playing video games and being depressed, but hey. Hadriel has given the defunct nation a renewed sense of purpose.]

meet at 7AM outside the spire apartments. dress for exercise cuz we're gonna stretch and do some jogging and maybe some grappling training?? let's see where the morning takes us. also i'm available for weapons training cuz i know how to use pretty much everything in the armory cuz i'm ~awesome~ like that. i can prove it too cuz i get it done son

[And true to his word, Prussia will be outside the next morning waiting to see if anyone heeded the call. He'll be very pleased that anyone shows up, but will give a discerning eye to them trying to size them up.]

I've gathered some intel on the gods and the city. I'll share what I've learned with you tomorrow and we can discuss further plans after the morning exercise.

[Gilbert must be out of his damn mind. But, he's drawn Yukari's attention enough to attend this event. It's been a while since he'd seen the enthusiastic man and he has since gotten his eye back (albeit via death). He'd love this opportunity to show off.

So, he does indeed attend the event. But he's not dressed for exercise. He's garbed in his normal attire, with his sword strapped to the back of his jacket. And if Gilbert has even a grain of intelligence, he'll show up prepared, even without Yukari's notification of agreement.

Yukari even shows up early, with a wide smirk as he eyes Gilbert.]

Gilbert-chan, it's been a while, hmm? I hope you don't mind my showing up. I just have a curiousity that needs to be sated.

[He pulls the sword from its sheath, giving it a series of flambouyant twirls before pointing it in Gilbert's direction, whether Gilbert came prepared or not.]

I would just love to see your skillset~.

[And with a smile, he charges at Gilbert, swinging his blade swiftly and smoothly toward Gilbert's midsection.]

[Prussia had watched Yukari discerningly. After talking with him the first time, he figured Yukari probably could at least handle himself in a fight, though losing an eye was a disappointment. The good thing was, it didn't look like it slowed him down. Prussia had just enough time to draw his own sword to block Yukari's attack. He grinned, excited. This is what he needed.]

And and you shall receive! I'll get to see what you're made of too, then.

[The problem with fighting Prussia is going up against the strength of a nation. Even though he hasn't been one in quite some time, he's somehow managed to retain his strength of one. He doesn't use all of it to push Yukari back, but Yukari can probably feel it as he's knocked away. Prussia doesn't waste time coming right back at him, aiming to come down on his shoulder.]

we'll go for a jog and use that to head somewhere to talk it over, but is there any place in the city they can't get to us? or are they always listening or whatever

[Yukari can feel the delight course through him when his blade meets Gilbert's.]

Delightful~ I certainly adore it when someone comes prepared.

[When Yukari is pushed back, he takes it gracefully, his footwork keeping him fully in balance, and thus allowing him to dodge the oncoming attack to his shoulder. He clicks his tongue in mock disapproval, but his smirk shows he's thoroughly enjoying himself.]

You do have impressive strength, Gilbert-chan. But allow me to show you how it's done~.

[Yukari charges his Green Electric Aura into his free hand and sends a massive bolt towards Gilbert in a wave. It's not intense enough to kill a man, holding back a little himself, but it would be rather unpleasant if it should hit one, the average man being brought to his knees by it.]

[Well, he's not expecting that, and Prussia has to scramble back pretty quickly to get out of the way of the electrical attack. That's a hard thing to dodge, and Prussia can't get away from all of it. It hurts, but he's still standing. He looks pretty unhappy a few moments later when he recovers.]

Christ, of course you've got some kind of crazy super power! I think every other jerk here does. Fine, I'll deal with it--!

[No, he doesn't know how he can outrun electricity. He figures he'll just have to wear Yukari out as fast as he can, unleashing a flurry of sword swipes while continuing to move forward against him.]

[Oh, the poor baby~ Watching Gilbert scramble in vain is a wonderful sensation. And the jerk comment doesn't bother him at all.]

Well, you do have more resilience than I imagined, Gilbert-chan. My congratulations~

[Yukari dodges just as swiftly as the swipes come, cartwheeling, flipping, and twirling out of the way with even a few flambouyant parries of his own against the blade. Gilbert might have the power of a nation, but it'll take a whole lot more than that to wear Yukari down. Yukari has taken down whole armies at once on his own. Strength is hardly anything against agility.

He allows the Electricity to crackle along his blade as he gives another parry, hoping to channel it along Gilbert's and give him another rather nasty shock.

Step up your game, Gilbert. Yukari has more he wants to show you in way of his abilities.]

I don't believe they're omniscient. I've had to call out for them in their temples before they appear to me.

[Sure, he's been dormant for a few decades, but someone born fighting and did so for centuries doesn't forget everything that quickly. He's got a lot of brute force wanting to come out, and he'd actually be enjoying this if he wasn't getting electrocuted. That's really starting to piss him off, and slow him down.]

Goddamnit, knock that off!

[His next trick is to try and disarm Yukari by making him drop his weapon. no fair that he gets lighting powers AND a sword. He comes down hard from the side with the flat of his blade at Yukari's forearms.]

Hmm? Knock it off, you say? [Well, Yukari's actually rather tempted to humour the man.

He swiftly sidesteps the forearm attack, having to move a little more quickly to dodge that one.]

Which is it, then? Do you wish me to stop with the Lightning attacks, or do you wish to disarm me? I do need to know.

[Either/or is fine with him. But Gilbert gets one or the other, not both.]

i figured they weren't but i also figure you can't be too safe, you know? but that's good. we can just meet at my apartment or something then

[And Danse will be there...at 6.30am in the morning. If Prussia isn't already there at the time, he'll stumble on Danse doing some pre-stretching...stretching.

Once he sees Prussia, Danse stops and stands up straight, greeting Prussia with a nod.] Gilbert. I'm ready for today's session.

[He didn't like that cheating lightning attack, but he didn't have any way to stop Yukari from using that. He'd have to keep at it, but right now he'd just as much like to end this fight. The electrocution part has kind of sucked all the fun out of it.

His best plan at the moment is to go for a feint, and try to trick Yukari into a move where he'd be susceptible to being disarmed. He aims for Yukari's opposite shoulder before turning a swift 180 degrees to hit him on his dominate arm.]

[He's definitely there, and gives Danse an informal little salute when he approaches.]

Nice and early! Good, we can get stuff out of the way before anyone else gets here.

[And get lots of stretching in, too, of course.]

So what's the news?

Both it is then.

[He says it so easily, as if offering cake with coffee.

When Gilbert aims for his shoulder, Yukari seems to take the bait, moving to deflect with his sword. But, when Gilbert swings around to the other side in his fakeout, Yukari clicks his tongue mock-disapprovingly. He doesn't even move to defend the attack as the attempt strikes at his shoulder and he lets his sword fall to the ground.

Yukari smirks at him.]

And I suppose you feel you have at least something of an advantage now?

[He gives a light, airy chuckle as he creates a nigh-Colourless wall and attempts to floor Gilbert with it. He then turns to retrieve his sword so he can sheath it.]

As promised, I'm using neither my Green Aura nor Ayamachi. That's exactly what you asked for, isn't it?

[Ow. That was unexpected. He jabs at the wall with his sword, not sure if it'll manage to get rid of it or not. It's also hard to see, but he sure can feel it. How big exactly was this thing?

As Yukari goes to retrieve his sword, Prussia runs along the wall, judging its distance around him by dragging his sword along it. As soon as he finds an end, he'll immediately rush Yukari. But if it circles him 360-degrees, then he'll attempt to get through it by stopping to hack at it.]

Whatever. I'll power through all your cheap tricks!

The wall remains solid against the sword strikes and Yukari smirks in amusement at Gilbert. However, the wall is pretty short, and Gilbert should be able to find the end of it in short order and Yukari slides Ayamachi into its sheathe.

As he charges Yukari, he just swiftly dances out of the way, cartwheeling and twirling about swing after swing with relative ease.]

Cheap, you say? Are you jealous, Gilbert-chan?

[He says it smoothly, lilting his voice in amusement. This is fun! Gilbert should just loosen up. Yukari raises his hand up toward the swinging blade and creates just a small patch of his Colourless Aura this time to deflect the attack.]

Do tell me how my tricks are cheap, I have humoured all of your rules thus far. Or do you mean to attack only those who are defenseless? [Yukari tsks at Gilbert.</small.]

[Fights are normally tons of fun for Prussia, but this one was infuriating. Partly because of Yukari's powers coming out of the woodwork, and partly because they're causing Prussia to lose.]

Shut up! You know what I mean. I'm not jealous of cheap tactics like this.

[He's totally jealous and if he was able to, would also be using powers left and right if he had them.

What he does have is ridiculous strength, though. If Yukari can block with those shield and so lithely get out of the way, then disarming is pointless. Time to get him off of his feet. Foregoing a sword attack this time, he tries to rush behind Yukari to deliver a vicious low kick, attempting to get him off his feet.]

While it is still unknown how many people are actively seeking a way home, only one person has so far has actually proved powerful enough to somewhat challenge those gods, for lack of a better word.

[Don't mind if Danse keeps his voice on the low. You never really know where those gods are.]

This may sound outlandish, but this individual had tried to place Hadriel into a...different reality, one that was in their control. Their plan was to destroy the gods and find the Door. An unfortunate side-effect is that this person's reality is inhabited by terrifying monstrosities that will kill on sight. People died in their attempt to reach the Door.

Furthermore, this individual did not have sufficient power. Obviously they failed to accomplish their objectives. They also do not have the know-how to handle the Door, and acknowledged that any attempts to understand the Door would be done through trial and error.

Undoubtedly, this individual is powerful. Powerful enough that they've been able to leave a lasting mark on the city; the dangerous fog area close to Tranquility's temple is what's left of the reality they imposed on Hadriel. However, preliminary interactions suggest a prideful personality that will not accept orders or compromise easily. Casualties are acknowledged and regretted, but the lost of innocent life will not prove a deterrent. This is an individual who believes that the ends justifies the means, and would pursue methods that most would find distasteful and unacceptable.

[The hit successfully lands and Yukari falls toward the ground, although he hardly seems fazed by it, having a delighted smirk on his face.]

Well, now. I suppose this will be the part where I must apologise.

[A crackle between his fingertips suddenly becomes a massive bolt of Electricity, aimed right for Gilbert. This time, he's not holding back. If that bolt strikes, he expects to see some real damage. If it misses, it might leave a small crater where it landed.]

[Prussia was about come down with his sword on Yukari, but has only enough time to leap out of the way of the bolt. It narrowly misses him, and he stares at the smoking hole it's left behind with horror for a moment. He can't keep doing this. It's not like when he was younger. If something like that hit him, he'd be dead.

He throws his sword down in anger, but he doesn't call for mercy or back off. He stands his ground.]

Are you trying to kill me? Wasn't think a sparring match?!

Oh, you would have come back from the dead, fully intact. [Yukari gently, gracefully, picks himself up off the ground, dusting his coat off as one would after sitting in the sand at a picnic.] Granted, it might have been a few days, but you would have come back, good as new, in Hope's Temple. Besides, you met my expectations by dodging it. If I were trying to kill you, I would have sent it out in a massive wave instead of just one targeted area.

[He chuckles, as though all of this should have been perfectly obvious.]

You're so grumpy, Gilbert-chan. What seems to be the problem? Not having fun?

[Yukari's totally taunting him at this point.]

[This was all pretty intense stuff. He doesn't for a moment under stand all of this super power and trans-dimensional stuff, so he's not sure what to make of everything Danse has just told him. He thinks it over for a moment.]

That sounds crazy. So does the person who caused all of it. Can I ask who this is?

[Should he find them and talk to them? Absolutely not. Will he anyway? Probably.]</small?

Her name is Sharon De Silva. If you're going to see her, don't mention anything remotely positive about the gods. She won't tolerate that.

[Sharon doesn't even like Delight's bar. Can you imagine that?]

Because you're using all those... fancy tricks. [He's not used to this sort of fight. He has nothing to defend against crazy super powers, and it's hard to form a plan of attack against someone who could theoretically do anything. This wasn't fun. This was embarrassing.]

I don't fly or shoot lightning or breathe fire like some people do here. Guess I'll just have to get by on my hundreds of years of experience.

[He may be feeling sour, but he can still fit some bragging in there.]

That's fine, I don't exactly have a lot of good to say about them anyway. [Except he does like the bar. How could you not? It's one of the few places that make Hadriel feel a little more normal.]

I know they supposedly give us stuff, but I just get a weird feeling about all this "god" stuff. I don't like being at anyone's mercy like this. [Though in Hadriel, Prussia has more freedom than he did back home at the moment. Ironic, that.]

If they're not going to find a way out of here for us, then we need to do it ourselves. I'm not gonna sit around and wait for them to solve our problems.

[Yukari lets out a delighted, airy laugh, obviously amused at what Gilbert has said.]

Well, I could conform if it would make you feel better. I'm certainly amused and confident either way.

[He chuckles just as airily as the laugh before as he presses a couple of fingers to his own lips in thought.]

Though tell me, Gilbert-chan, how do you plan to form a coup if you cannot defeat even my antics? Or.... Are you giving up on your plan? I must say, I'm rather disappointed if that's the case.

[Your bragging attempt just failed, Gilbert. Yukari's going to call out your shit.]

Of course not! I don't give up. [DEBATABLE.] All this means is I need to change my tactics. Besides, we're on the same side here! Stop acting like you're trying to take me down! Unless you like the gods and wanna stick around this hell cave forever.

[More than anything, Yukari's teasing attitude was the thing riling Prussia up the most.]

Hmm, I am on your side, but not for the reasons you seem to be believing. I do want to see the Gods overthrown. But do you truly think that will pave the pathway to going home? From beings that have powers you don't? You honestly think that you can achieve something they couldn't in triggering the very door that dragged us here?

[He seems to be gracefully dancing around the point, his voice still lilted, but more thoughtful.]

I am more than happy to aide you in overpowering the Gods, Gilbert-chan. I'll even allow you to have the position of King. But I have no intention of leaving this world. And if you seek to do as they do, to forcibly return everyone to their homeworlds, then we will assuredly become enemies. Not that I mind if I have to fight, or even destroy, you.

[He crackles Electricity acrost his fingertips, to remind Gilbert of what he would be up against, giving a defiant smirk.]

Don't take it personally, of course. I just happen to rather enjoy it here much, much more than my homeworld.

...You want to stay here. You enjoy it.

[Prussia has to repeat Yukari's statements to let them sink in. He found this a little hard to believe, but a little self reflection would put this into perspective for him. After all, didn't he have more freedom now than he did back home, even while being trapped in a hell cave?]

I'm not going to force anyone to do something they don't want to do. I don't care if you wanna stay here. That's your deluded choice to make, not mine.

Delightful. I'm glad we can agree to disagree. Then you can look forward to my continued services as a fellow mercenary.

So, do tell me, how will you change your tactics to gain the upper hand on the deities?

If brawn won't do, brains will. They'll have to be outsmarted! I'm sure they're not telling us all of the truth, so we'll have to get it all out of them somehow. Some of them are probably easier than others to coerce. First, though, I'll have to gain their trust.

[He really hadn't thought this far ahead, but it seemed to be making sense as he spoke it.]

Ah, I recommend Fear-chan, if you're looking to bribe information off of someone. He deals in trades of phobia, as I'm certain you might have guessed. But he is reliable and more cooperative than most of the others, by my personal experience. I would say avoid Hope-chan for information at almost any cost for this endeavour. If he's alerted beforehand, surely you will fail.
