I think incredibly unlucky sounds about right, yeah.

I guess being dead's a possibility too but last I knew I was alive.

[And he's still not sure about believing in any sort of afterlife. He definitely didn't before, but finding out things like wendigo spirits exist kind of threw everything he knew for a loop.]
