[Bianca, instead of the bar or her own quarters, is broadcasting from a Spire apartment that's unfamiliar to anyone who didn't happen to visit Johanna Mason's quarters.

There's no music, no theatrics. She sits on a single bed, a throwing axe lying across her lap, and looks into the camera with sombre, dark eyes.]

Johanna Mason's gone. She got away. She's free.

[And Hadriel just became smaller, darker and lonelier than Bianca feels she can bear.]

[It takes a little while before he decides if he wants to reply to this or not, considering everything that's gone on regarding Bianca, but he'd really liked Johanna. He's not entirely sure if he going back to where she's from is a good thing or not, but he hopes so.]

an apology seems very inadequate, as well as potentially inflammatory; Emily was very firm about wanting me to avoid you all now.

[He wasn't really expecting that, especially now that the guilt that went with Sorrow's resurrection seems to have worn off, and it's... Kind of strange to hear. Not bad strange, just he doesn't entirely know what to feel strange.

It's okay. I mean I can't say I'm not still pissed you all decided to do the whole thing you did, but I believe you and Kate didn't want anyone to get hurt at least.

[He doesn't think that can be said about Sharon, but he doubts Bianca or Kate had any ill intentions toward anyone but the gods. Of course that doesn't mean he likes that they decided to risk everyone that way, but that's a different issue.]

we really didn't. it was a dangerous, mad idea but i really hoped if we overloaded whatever keeps us trapped here, it might give way at its weak spots.

maybe it did. maybe that's why Johanna slipped out. it kills me that I might never know.

No. I don't. But I do know how badly she didn't want to be here - you could feel it radiating off her.

If it does turn out to be bad I plan to be there to take her away, in any case.

Yeah. At least she seemed to get a little happier over time.
