[ This is all very mysterious and he takes all of 5 seconds before shrugging it off. ]

["Donut" is kind of a funny name, but this guy's name is Sans and he's a skeleton, so he doesn't really have room to crack a few at the guy's expense.]

Yeah, literal gods. I wasn't diggin' it either.

I know! You should get a business card! We can even get it scented it with a manly perfume and you can hand it to people when they ask!

[ He sounds a little too excited about this prospect. ]

[Sans already has a pretty distinctive scent. Eau de skeleton, featuring lovely fragrances such as grease, char, ketchup, and relish. At this point adding perfume on top of it would just be gratuitous.]

Most people don't really let me get that far before it's all, "how do you talk?" and, "are you death?" [Right, and he might as well get this squared away:] I'm not, by the way. No relation.

Nope. Not distant cousins, not uncle twice removed, or anythin' like that. Unless my family tree's hiding a hell of a secret branch.

Nah. We do have our fair share of gods walkin' around, though. Rage, Hope, Delight, Fear, aaaaand Sorrow.

[He counts them off on his phalanges one by one.]

Sorrow? I don't think I'll like that kind of god, but Delight sure sounds like they'd be a fun god don't you think?

Yeah, it could be worse. They're all kinda in the middle of some big celestial turf war, though. So not as nice as it sounds.

[ He looks at him. ]

[Sans has to laugh at that. God, that's hilarious.]
