I asked Hope for a camera. I want to find the good things about this place, and I know it sounds pretty impossible but not everything here is shit.

( The place maybe, but not everything else. The video jerks for a moment as the view changes from Beth to some photos laid out on her bed. There's one of her sister, Hannah, one of across the lake, and one of the orchard )

My friends make this place better for me, and there are some nice things to look at here, places that are kind of peaceful when nothing's going on. I want to take more pictures of things that makes us happy -- make a record or something. Even if our friends leave we'd have something showing when we were happy. Considering how much this place can scare the crap out of us I think we need some happiness.

If there's something you want a picture of let me know.

That's... wonderful! such a bright attitude... I would love to take a picture with my friend from home, if possible, we don't have this kind of technology in my world... and it would be nice. Is there anything I could do for you to eventually repay the gesture?

Uh... what about telling me about your friend. What's their name?

Oh, his name is Kain. He's been around the city longer than me... maybe you've seen him, he's costantly wearing a blue armor, the helmet is shaped to remind a dragon's head. [What can even she say about him?] The first impression can not be the best, he's quite silent and stoic, but he's a good person and that's enough for me. And I'm actually glad to be here with him because back home we never had a real chance to bond but in this place we're learning to know each other better.

And I think he really needs more friends in his life.

If you're interested I could introduce you two to each other, I don't think I'd do him justice just talking like this.

It sounds familiar. I don't think I've spoken to him though.

( Which if he was pretty quiet might not be surprising )

I wouldn't mind saying hello.

It doesn't surprise me too much, he tends to stay on his own, sadly. Which is a shame because he can be quite the honorable friend [As far as she cares, all that happened during they journey has to be blamed only on the villain's ability to mind control] and he can be... nice, I guess.

That would be lovely, what's better than meeting new people and making new friends?
