Yeah, of course he did! And-- God was just always around, that's how it works. The Big Bang was the explosion that started all of the universe. "Let there be light" and all that stuff, you know?

That's his name! I mean, that's what we call him. God. There's just one.

[He hasn't been religious in a very long time, but those Templar Knights roots of his run deep.]

There's just-- religion and science. Science explains a lot but not everything yet. They don't always meet eye to eye, either. It's complicated.

Maybe in your world, in mine there's more than one. And at least ours introduced himself, even before I met him. I don't know, it feels a bit distant just to call him 'God'... but to each world its own, right?

They've been discussing it for centuries and it hasn't quite worked yet. I'm not holding my breath. And meeting God isn't a thing we really do. Sorta. I mean, not until you're dead I guess? Look, a lot of this goes on faith, it's hard to describe.
