[He'd been meaning to turn on the video anyway, but the cat with infinite mouths had gotten to it ahead of him. It gnaws on the phone for a moment before Kylo scoops up the cat, holding it with one arm while he adjusts the video with the other. The cat immediately tries to start gnawing on him instead, but he doesn't really seem to care.]

Does anyone know what these cats eat?

[Surprisingly to most of the cave, Kylo doesn't have his helmet on. He usually doesn't even go out in public unless he has the bucket on. It's the first time he's shown his face without it on the network. But what can he do? The little yellow Cyclops neko, seen curled up in the corner of the video, is currently sleeping in it.]

Also, does anyone know where I can find cat beds?

[Yes, Kylo has adopted three of the little hell cats. What can he say? He's mentally twelve years old and thought they were the coolest thing ever. The third one flies into view, a curious little green thing with horns and bat wings. Anyone who comments about him being a crazy cat lady can do so at the risk of being Force-choked. (Besides, Hux already beat everyone to it.)]

If you put blankets and some soft things boxes, they'll sleep in those.

[But the little Cyclops kitty looks so peaceful that Kylo just doesn't have the heart to disturb him.]

[There better not be a ton of hair. There's not enough lint rollers in the world to get yellow and bright green hair off black robes.]

[Ikaruga won't mock him for it. She's taken in two of the little beasties herself. The one in her lap is red, scaly, and has horns and wings. The other, currently out of view, is a cyclops that sparkles.]

I don't know that getting them beds would be worth your while. Cats seem to sleep wherever they wish.

I thought I should make an attempt. Hux wasn't too fond of waking up to find the yellow one on his chest.

[He'd tried to get rid of two of them. Kylo had snuck them back in. Hux was not amused.]

I would imagine not. That would be uncomfortably hot. And depending on its weight...the chest pressure would only make it worse.

He blamed me entirely. As if it's my fault they like him.

[Well, technically it was his fault.]

But what was I supposed to do? They're just so cute.

[Cute was an interesting word to describe them when the many-mouthed one was doing its utter best to gnaw off his arm.]

[Jade is all too familiar with Hadriel's new favorite pet. Her roommates adopted two of them. But these ones seem particularly troublesome.]

Did everyone adopt a weird cat?

Who wouldn't one?

[Anyone with half a brain, that's who, which definitely discounts Kylo. The little Cthulhu-looking one comes flying over and perches on his shoulder. It seems curious about the device and bats at it with its little green paws.]

Uh, a lot of people? I wouldn't have adopted one if my roommates hadn't been really excited about the idea.

Your roommates clearly have good taste.

[The green cat makes a slurping sound with its tentacle mouth in what suspiciously sounds like agreement. Out of all the cats, despite its appearance, it has the most mellow temperament. It bats playfully again at the device.]

[That was a joke, but really, those are some scary looking cats!]

Should I try fresh or canned?

[Look at that, Kylo can actually make a deadpan joke once in a while. The black multi-mouthed one stops trying to chew his hand off and settles down, beginning to purr. Well, whatever passes for purring when every mouth makes the same noise at different tempos. Really disconcerting, actually.]

It looks like a picky eater to me. You might have to go with fresh.

I wonder if anyone here is willing to part with their's for a good cause.

[He scratches the black cat behind the ears, making the grinding purr rise even louder.]

[You'll have to pardon the fact Amos looks a little like he just got hit over the head: Kylo wasn't lying about his face looking nice, that's for damn sure. He reminds Amos of the art of fallen angels in church murals: all dark and haughty and haunting. Wow. And a nice voice, without the helmet's tech distorting it. He is way to old to to feel that kick of a crush, stop that.]

I dunno. They ain't actual cats, they's demon cats, or summat.

There's fish in the river, you might could try that?

[Fortunately for both their sakes, Kylo is completely oblivious to the emotional state of others. Hell, he can barely manage his own emotions, let alone recognize those of others. He doesn't really get the expression on Amos' face. Is he sick? Or did someone in this cave finally stop putting up with his nonsense and whack him over the head giving him a concussion?]

That might work. They seem to be fond of trying to take a chunk out of me. Don't suppose anyone's willing to volunteer a pound of flesh?

Uh, don't think you'll find many who'll take you up on that. You'll probably have better luck with the fish.

[Because there are only a select number of people who will volunteer to let you carve chunks off them and Amos is definitely not one of those. He really hopes there aren't any in the cave because encouraging casual violence is just not a great idea here.]

Just don't feed 'em bread or veggies. If they're like real cats they probably can't eat them.

[Taking care of these hellcats should be simple enough. They look like they're tough enough to survive just about anything thrown at them.]

I've never had a pet before.

[Kylo could barely take care of himself, let alone anything else that needed attention. But these little critters were cute enough to make him ignore any misgivings he might have.]

[Bianca answers the feed with a cute eldritch horror on her shoulder.]

Mine's eating the same food I feed the hyenas. That is to say, meat and fish. They don't seem overly picky as to what kind of meat.

As for cat beds, their preference seems to be whatever item of clean laundry best contrasts with their colour.

[Clearly, they run along the same wavelength when it comes to cute critters. Kylo's own stops gnawing on him, and despite its lack of eyes, seems to be focusing on the screen where the other cat is.]

I'll keep that in mind. Maybe they'll eat the same type of food we give Eclipse.

[The cat had shown utter disdain for the new arrivals and had quickly established that he was top cat, no matter what the little terrors thought.]

[Bianca leans in, looking interested, and the cat on her shoulder makes a distinctly uncatlike rasping noise.]

I think they may be communicating. How fascinating!

What's Eclipse?

It sounds like it.

[Kylo's arches its little back and makes the same sort of sound back at the cat in the screen. It's possible they're either saying hello or plotting the deaths of their owners. Anything is possible at this point.]

Eclipse is the cat Anakin brought home. He's not pleased about the new arrivals.
