[Luke is still trying to take everything in, to get used to this place, but it isn't easy. There's so much to take in and so much to deal with. He begins to experiment with the communications device he found with him when he woke up.]

This place is strange. There's definitely something about it that isn't right...

I don't really like being trapped, but I'll have to make the best of it, I guess. At least until I find out more.]

If anyone sees this, I'll introduce myself...my name is Luke. Luke SKywalker. It's nice to meet everyone.

He is my father. I thought I sensed his presence here, somewhere, but I didn't know how it could be possible...

It happens, sometimes. Three of my cousins arrived here before me.

[Anakin's son, hmm? Fingon gives him a curious glance, and then continues.]

I've only spoken to Anakin a few times, but one of my cousins has become quite fond of him. If he doesn't respond here, I can ask on his whereabouts.

Though...it may be that he will not recognize you. I am no great judge of Men's ages, but I believe he is currently rather younger than you are.

I understand. It's a lot to take in...time travel...but I'll see how he reacts when we talk and go from there.

Time in this place is something of a mess, yes. And hearing of what will happen can be very hard.

[And something from home is clearly bothering Anakin Skywalker, so who knows what will happen when he hears of his future.] He'll have support, whatever you tell him of what will come.

It's a lot to get used to.

Have you had the chance to read the guide on your communication device? It has some helpful information about this place written by a local here.

Yeah...I did look it over. It did tell me a few good pieces of information.

Are there any questions you would like to ask? Rather than inundate you with information, it might be easier if you asked about what you most wanted to know about and I answered to the best of my ability.

Well, I know there's not always a lot of needed things here...or that at least, finding them can down to luck. It seems to have a lot of strange creatures to be alert for. And there's time travel.

Who's running it? Does anyone know that? What kinds of things might I have to face while I'm here? More like the monsters in the arena?

The gods are running things here, unless the 'it' you are referring to is the Door that brought you here. The gods figured out how to activate it, but not how to control it. Most of the things you will have to face are events caused by the gods themselves.

[She pauses, thinking on how to explain it. She doesn't hate the gods as much as some do, although she's got no great love of them either.]

The gods feed on emotion. Each of the gods is named for the emotion they need for sustenance. Some of the more difficult and strange happenings around here are the result of their influence and attempts to trigger strong bursts of particular emotions. Some of the things they do are relatively harmless. Others...well, it's a very good thing that Hope can heal and resurrect people.

I'm not familiar with these gods, but I'm not sure I like them.

[He knows the emotional bursts could be difficult. He can only imagine what it must be like for his father.]

It will make things hard for me, at times, I fear. I'm not like the ones who came before me...the older Jedi. But, I still sometimes struggle to harness my emotions, to control them before they control me.

It must be even harder for my father...

Many people have mixed feelings about them. They do those things to us for their own survival, but they also do things in order to ensure our survival. Hope can heal and resurrect people. Sorrow's power created the orchard. Fear's power can transport us away from their enemies who would kill the lot of us merely for being people capable of feeling emotions.

[She knows from witnessing it that this place can be hard on Anakin. She tries and is moderately successful at being a calming influence on her friend.]

You may wish to visit Tranquility's temple, then. Or perhaps the hot springs that Love created. Both can be quite calming.

I guess I can understand...that definitely gives me mixed feelings.

I would not consider them malicious so much as putting themselves first and the rest of us second. They sometimes lack an understanding of how people function, although they seem to be trying to work with us more lately rather than simply keeping us ignorant.

I don't think that's terribly uncommon, even with more typical beings. It still sounds like it can be annoying at times. I'm glad if they're trying to work with us more, though. It would be better for everyone.

Annoying is quite an understatement. Some of the things they have done have been quite terrible, but I don't believe any of it was done with truly malicious intent. I think they are sincerely incapable of understanding why people have such strong objections to the things they do to us.

Maybe we can hope that if they're willing to work more with us, they'll come to understand.

I guess in the meantime, our best hope is to come through, to do what we need to in order to survive.

Greetings, Luke, I'm Rydia. This place... isn't right and there are a lot of questionable things happen all the time but it's not... that bad.

It does seem very strange in many ways.

I just wonder if anyone knows we're gone. My family would be so worried...I hope they somehow don't know.

I can't say for sure but... time seems to flow a bit differently here compared to our original worlds, maybe once we find our way backs we will just... find ourselves right where we were. no worried families at all...

That would be better if it turned out that way. I've got a lot on my shoulders back home, and between my life's work and my family, I'd hate to think what would happen otherwise.

Sadly there's little we can do right now about it, thebest thing would be... keep being positive and hoping for the best.

I'm sure your family and your coworkers will understand, in case, no one chose to come here.

I just hope they aren't pulled in. My wife can handle herself, but it isn't a place I want my son in.

Which one? It can't be Ben...you didn't say he was mine. And if he was here, I'd know it right away. So it's either Anakin or Jacen...

But I haven't sensed either of them.

I think we better settle on finding some peace first. [Good is...hard to find; hard to keep. Anakin knows that his "good" is not everyone's definition of good.]

It is Ben and he is Leia's son; not yours. [Two Bens? That seems a bit overboard.] You named someone after me?

Yes, I can agree with that.

Leia's three are Jacen, Jaina and Anakin...there are four altogether.

Never heard of any of them. [He has a bad feeling about this.] I think I'm missing something. The Ben here is definitely related to me. I can feel it.
