You are being deceived by the "gods". Your loved ones are nothing but shadows.
The only question is, why have you been given this "gift"? Which god is responsible this time?

Voice, because no one wants the dyslexic demigod texting
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. It's a trick, or a monster, or a game. It's not real.
oh no will ;u;
Nothing in this city can be considered above suspicion. We - and our emotions - are naught but batteries for the gods.
This will not last, but there may be significant damage done regardless. [And, weirdly, he's actually mostly thinking about psychological damage. Not that he cares about people, or anything, just...well, that's what's going to happen.]

Story of my life. That's how it usually ends up with the Gods Sure, the battery part is a little new, but if you were immortal and all powerful, you might lose touch with what's important to the rest of us.
You're right. This is going to cause a lot of fallout. And not the type I can heal.

I am not certain that they are truly immortal - these so-called "gods". They have used us to resurrect themselves, after all.
I am also curious about the gods that you speak of. What were they?
no subject
Huh. Well that's different. Where I'm from, the Gods? Well, the Greek Gods, they can get hurt, but I've never heard of one of them having to get resurrected. But they also don't feed off emotions too. These guys must run off different stuff.
[And obviously since they feed off emotions here, they didn't eat need ambrosia or nectar]
My Gods? They're not really emotions like these guys are, they're like archtypes, like the sun or metalworking, war or hunting. That sort of thing. There are some that embody emotions, like Phobos or Eros, but they're more minor. I suppose it's possible they're similar, I haven't really had a whole lot of contact with them.

i mean i didn't much like them before but i really hate them now

Then you are wise.
How many shadows have appeared for you? Do they indeed grow stronger?
text;
and now it's even harder
i don't care what kind of pity party the gods try to put on after this, they can all screw off
text;
And you? You are growing weaker?
text;
i mean i've been kinda tired since this whole thing started but that's about it
i think it's making me exhausted just thinking about it all the time
[Mewtwo, please. Like he'd ever admit to any kind of weakness in any way, ever.]

I'm not being deceived at all. I know exactly what's happening here. Wouldn't it make sense that some other people feel the same way?
no subject
Then you are ignoring your shadow person? This figment that the gods have seen fit to attempt to manifest?
no subject
You asked a question, too, but I'm not sure if it was rhetorical or not. Forgive me; I'm not used to talking over phones like this. Do you really want to talk about which God is responsible for this?
no subject
Yes. I would be interested to know. [So he can...........thank them for it.]
no subject
Who else could have caused this but Love? I can't think of anything else that would motivate people like this.

You do nothing but allow yourself to be ruled by these "gods".
no subject
They don't rule me. I know how to play by the rules. That's how you survive.

If I were to make a guess, I'd say Sorrow is the one most likely at fault. After all, that's about the only way this can end.
Re: text
Then we should ensure that he is held responsible.

text
It would not be a simple task. But surely remaining under their rule is no better.

We've tried so much but everything fails.
