[Nico would prefer to just use the voice option and nothing else but he's not sure if people will recognize him by his voice alone, so he reluctantly uses the video option, looking none too pleased about... well, anything.]

I have a few things to say about recent events.

First, if anyone saw me playing or talking about a game called Mythomagic, it's a kids game and I don't play it anymore. I... used to [Reluctantly confesses] but I haven't for years so don't ask me if I have the cards or if I can teach you how to play because I don't and I can't.

Second, if I had any... personal conversations with you, I would appreciate it very much if you would please keep that information to yourself, thanks.

Third, who was responsible for that whole thing? [Because he would like to punch them in the face.] Having my memories messed with once before was already one time too many and I don't appreciate it happening again.

Last... I know it was completely fake but... I just... wanted to say thank you to the people I thought were my family... for being kind to me. So thank you. [That's just about the only good thing that happened, in his opinion. People were nice to him.

And now he's going to go do some tunnel exploring and let off some steam.]

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised. But what I told you still applies, even though we're no longer in horror-movie suburbia.

I... can do things that usually scare people or creep them out so I can understand why some people might be unnerved but... [And this is where Will and Jason need to pop in with their 'people would be your friend if you just gave them a chance!!!' pep talks they gave him before.]

[He isn't bothered by the tone; Nico's a teenager, and it's difficult enough believing that kind of advice for an adult. Lance forgets it himself sometimes.

He listens to the rest of that, considering it a few moments.]

Do you purposefully try to scare people?

... Not... all the time? [Okay so he may have summoned a few skeletons during meal times to cause a small ruckus until the camp director would let him sit at his boyfriend's cabin's table but he's the only one at his table majority of the time and it sucks having to sit by yourself just because of a stupid rule.] Most of the time, no. I can... speak with ghosts and call skeletons and zombies to come help me, but they're harmless. People are just afraid of death.

[Okay, he can't help but be faintly amused at that first response. As Nico explains more details, though, Lance is just more and more interested; maybe slightly creeped out too, but if they're harmless then there are more important things to worry about.]

It's true that people are afraid of death, for many inherent and instinctive reasons. With abilities like that, a warning might be kind of... Necessary.

But if you do that, and they still take issue, it's not really your responsibility anymore. Besides, aren't otherwise unusual things pretty commonplace at your camp?

[From what he's heard from Will, is summoning zombies really considered weird to a bunch of demigod kids?]

I can't do it here, at least. There aren't any spirits or remains anywhere around this place - probably because people just come back to life... so I've heard.

That's... somewhat true. Demigods have all sorts of different abilities, yes, but... speaking with and calling on the the dead and traveling through shadows is still a bit... disconcerting to most of them.

I'd think that'd be the least of their concerns, if what Will's said is true.

[About you know, more monsters and weird death relays and gods being giant babies and whatever else. Lance doesn't have a high opinion of how things work in Nico, Annabeth, and Will's world, really.]

We had a short amount of time where something like that happened back in our world. Caused a lot of problems with the monsters constantly coming back. It happens without fail every time?

Yeah, you'd think.

I would imagine. As far as I know yes, Hope brings everyone back, although not the monsters.

[Which is no big loss.]

Hmmm. Well, as far as I can tell, there isn't an Underworld here... I suppose it makes sense for the souls to just... go back into their bodies if there isn't. Any idea what happens if the body is damaged? [Asking the person who has been here longer. He still wonders what happens to the monsters - in his world, they reform in Tartarus and eventually make their way back out, but there isn't a Tartarus here.

At least, he really desperately hopes not.]

[Sure, if souls really do exist--a concept Lance hadn't completely ruled out even before arriving here, and now sounds almost mundane in comparison to other things--then that makes sense. He isn't sure of the answer to Nico's question, though, but then again he might have a guess.]

I think that maybe Hope can fix some things, and if so it makes sense that he would repair a body before bringing someone back to life in it.

[Otherwise they'd just die again, probably. But he's only speculating, based on that when he'd arrived here he has the distinct feeling that some of his injuries had disappeared or were at least lessened compared to how they had been. But then again, everything happened so fast and he doesn't know for sure.]

That makes sense. [Wouldn't be much of a point bringing someone back if they were only going to die from their wounds again shortly, right.]
