Hello, fellow abductees,
It has come to my attention that a number of you do not like Dr. Sweets. I did not like him either when I first met him, so this is understandable.
In an effort to help strengthen his standing within the community, I am requesting that you please state if you do or do not like Dr. Sweets, and why. Please also respond if you are indifferent on him, as more data will allow me to form a more complete and accurate conclusion.
Thank you for your assistance.

[First of all. You are not her friend. You do not have the right.]
Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant. Dr. Sweets is a very good friend, and I intend to help my friends in any way I am able to.
[Translation: she is ready to fight for the people she loves, because she spent three months running and hiding, and she is done with that life. Never mind that this is NOWHERE near as serious as being accused of murder.]
A friend does not wait for their assistance to be enlisted. A friend acts out of the goodness of their metaphorical heart. I have not broadcast any personal affair of his. All I have done is requested feedback.
Based on your aggressively defensive response, I must conclude that you care a great deal about Dr. Sweets in your own way. However, that caring is one-sided, as he has not mentioned you to me except to say you can be reasonable when you are not being emotional. I find that difficult to believe at this point, but I cannot say with certainty that I have interacted enough with you to conclusively say that you are not reasonable.

Your conclusion is as lazy as it is incorrect. I have no strong feelings about Dr. Sweets either way. I can count the number of times we've spoken on one hand, but from that limited interaction, I have observed that unlike most people here, he seems both reasonable and intelligent, and unlike some people here, he also doesn't seem invested in making damn sure everyone else knows exactly how smart he is. [That's right, he is CALLIN U OUT BRENNAN.] Frankly, I couldn't care less what either of you thinks about me, though I will state for the record that I am more thankful than I can put into words that you are not my friend, because with a friend like you, I certainly wouldn't have any need for enemies.
not here
Brennan is well aware that she can be rude, abrasive, socially inept, etc. But to hear that she can be hurtful when she is trying to help someone?
She can't think of anything to say back, so she leaves it at that. It's time to withdraw. She sends Sweets an apology and then goes to find something else to do, something that doesn't require interacting with other people.]
