Hello, fellow abductees,

It has come to my attention that a number of you do not like Dr. Sweets. I did not like him either when I first met him, so this is understandable.

In an effort to help strengthen his standing within the community, I am requesting that you please state if you do or do not like Dr. Sweets, and why. Please also respond if you are indifferent on him, as more data will allow me to form a more complete and accurate conclusion.

That's not really possible, for one thing, which is why we prefer blind studies in psychology.

For another, everyone who responds has a bias.

[Lance had been trying to figure out if he should say anything; on one hand, wow this is all really awkward and he doesn't like how pointed that comments had gotten, but on the other Brennan doesn't need him intervening on her behalf and it's good for her to work out this sort of interaction on her own.

But now he feels like he really should have said something, because it's clear enough why Brennan's attitude had changed in this message.]

[He's entirely capable of standing up for himself, and he would've been more forceful if he'd thought it was really important. She doesn't need to apologize.]
