Hello, fellow abductees,

It has come to my attention that a number of you do not like Dr. Sweets. I did not like him either when I first met him, so this is understandable.

In an effort to help strengthen his standing within the community, I am requesting that you please state if you do or do not like Dr. Sweets, and why. Please also respond if you are indifferent on him, as more data will allow me to form a more complete and accurate conclusion.

Thank you for your assistance.

If you ever want to do this sort of research for the benefit of friends of yours in the future, I would suggest observing who the friend in question regularly interacts with - whether in a positive or negative way - and then approaching the people privately. It might not be as efficient, but it would spare your friends some social discomfort and then you would only be getting responses from people who actually know them.

[There's way too much social fail to outline everything that was wrong with how this was handled, so instead she focuses on suggesting a more tactful means of accomplishing the same thing.]

You are welcome.

Recognition and a willingness to improve when given constructive criticism will serve you well.
