It has come to my attention that a number of you do not like Dr. Sweets. I did not like him either when I first met him, so this is understandable.

In an effort to help strengthen his standing within the community, I am requesting that you please state if you do or do not like Dr. Sweets, and why. Please also respond if you are indifferent on him, as more data will allow me to form a more complete and accurate conclusion.

I am surprised you do not wish to completely forget that week, like most people seem to. We did have a pleasant conversation, so I am not opposed to meeting properly now that we are our true selves again.

It... was nice to have... pleasant memories, for a change. So I... do not mind it, as much as some. But it would be good to learn of those who I considered friend in a dream, and see if those relationships might be able to be built in truth.

I have many pleasant memories, but very few of any kind of memory of my time here, so I do not find that I am affected much by what occurred.

That is good! I am but newly arrived, myself. But it was ... nice. To be able to have, for a while, a happy home with neither war nor grief to darken it. Unrealistic, I know, but nice all the same.

That is a waste of time. If you are aware it is impossible and yet still dwell on it, you are engaging in a completely useless thought pattern.

If it is a brief thought of regret, then it is to be expected. Otherwise, there are greater problems at work.

That is only because the worst things to happen in my life were not my fault. Luck has nothing to do with it. There are no larger patterns to life, merely cause and effect, randomness.

That makes you doubly fortunate, then - for far too often the ills that befall us are of our own making, more often than not! And I think the pattern is there, but it takes many lifetimes of Men to see.

Perhaps that is the case in your world, but in mine, humans are primates. Our species evolved over many, many years to arrive at homo sapiens. If that is not the case in your world, then I mistakenly referred to you as being similar to humans, when in fact humans are similar to Elves.

To this day, the most encompassing word for us as a people remains still Quendi - The Speakers.

Men did not wake until the Sun's first rising, although we met them only much later, when they first crossed the mountains, but by then we were at War and could spare little time to knowing of their... your, I suppose, origins, and they would tell us little, and as time went by, as seems often the case, they seemed to mostly forget.
