I appreciate the vote of confidence, though I do understand that it was more for Sorrow than for myself. Nevertheless, we will be undertaking an investigation shortly. Our main goal is to uncover any allies the Null have in the city - this should be no surprise.

However, I will admit that we have not conducted an investigation such as this before. Our kind never had any need to. As such, we would appreciate any constructive input you would like to give, as well as any assistance you may wish to offer. We have discussed this and decided on a course of action already, but Sorrow and I have agreed that some of you may have more experience with this sort of thing. It would be foolish of us to ignore that. We are listening to your suggestions.

However, please note that I said constructive input.

[Hayden is raising his hand like a student waiting to be called on. He, of course, can't be seen, and he realizes this at some point and just starts talking. But his hand is still in the air where ever it is that he is.]

[And it's gonna be a good one. A suggestion from someone who definitely understands what all of this is about and isn't just trying to be polite and not sound angry or sassy like a lot of the other responses.]

People respond well to positive reinforcement and also treats!

Well, I like the sweet kind of treat, like cookies, but sometimes, ah...! Sometimes...!

Sometimes other things are treats too, like a flower that smells really nice and is given nicely, or a little note that says good job!

[He's never gotten a note like that but he imagines it would be very nice.]

Yes - I've always found those things to be a bright spot in a day that might otherwise be dreary.

Your ideas are appreciated. Have you visited the orchard yet? There are many flowers there.

Yes! I went there by accident but it is now my favorite place that I've ever been to!

[It's beautiful and perfect and it has food which is also the best.]

I've never seen so many plants all together at once, before!

The park is nice for that sort of thing as well. If you like plants and greenery, that is.

I quite like the places you have made for yourselves. The clinic, for example. I appreciate the hard work and care that have gone into them.

[He also likes seeing people care for each other and work together. Like a stressed out Care Bear.]

But the park is also a lovely place. I'm glad that the city is alive once more.

You don't need to build things. Just find a place that you like and help out there - find the others who like that place. It seems that everyone here has a project of some kind.
