A friend brought up an interesting point; one that I do not think many have considered. In our world, it is common for women to wear dresses - or, at the very least, skirts - and for men to wear pants. Why do you think the practice differs in other worlds? Is it simply for convenience's sake? Does it have to do with the environment or are your worlds particularly combative?

If women need to fight, I cannot imagine them doing so in long dresses!

(There was a time she would not have been caught dead in pants, but they have a use. Arya had been right.)

I consider myself the lucky one. (She is always eager for friends and Naw is particularly adorable.) Any world can be cruel, but I feel this one is less so because of the people.

Yeah... good company can make even the dreariest of situations tolerable, don't they? [even in times of war, there were moments when she could smile and laugh just because she had friends.]

Absolutely. Learning to be alone is a difficult lesson - but necessary - however when you are in peril, you deserve to have those you can rely on nearby.

Since I feel we are consistently in peril, we need to assist and support one another.
