[Julie looks tired, and grouchy, and she sounds grouchy too.]
So, is this normal? I mean, it's not normal, obviously, but should I be expecting more of this crap while I'm stuck here?
[She rubs under one of her eyes, where lack of sleep is already making shadows.]
Give me a zombie apocalypse any day.

[She rubs at her eyes and fights off a yawn while Barkspawn moves into view to sniff at her device.]
C'mon, move your big fat head. That's better.
I mean, it's not all bad, but that's not enough to make up for the parts that are.

The dog appears, and she waves without thinking.]
Hey, Barkspawn. [Who's a good boy? You are.] I haven't really been here long enough to be able to judge the 'not bad' parts.

At least it's not supposed to last very long, from what I'm getting, but that still doesn't make any of this right. Not to mention having other people see your dreams whether you want it or not. It's fucking creepy and invasive.
I'd just try to stay up all the time, but then this one here'd whine at me and give me those big eyes. Guilt-tripper.
[The mabari huffs, unrepentant.]

[It's rude, is what it is, and as much as she doesn't want anyone wandering around in dreams composed of her memories she has already realised that she can't actually keep anyone out.
All she can do is try to be respectful of where she finds herself... if she even realises she's dreaming while she's there.]
At least we can't get hurt, I guess.

It feels so real in the dreams, but it doesn't last into the waking world. Still, I'm not a masochist. Some of that shit doesn't need me running head-first into it, even if it won't carry over.

[It's something she's been thinking about.] I mean... we're not really sleeping, are we. Not like we should be.

[Julie rubs two fingers under one of her eyes again. She's tired.]
It's dragging on, too.
