[For once Matt has the video on. It's no use to him, but he wants his face to be seen this time, because this is serious. And he's furious.]
I'm going to guess most of us read the post that the ones who call themselves the Null posted. If you didn't, it's because you're on their list. The list of targets they've asked us to kill in exchange for the location of the god killer. I'm not the first to post about it either, but the louder the signal, the less chance it can be missed or ignored.
And it needs to be known.
This is the list of names as of this moment.

I'm no fan of the "gods" who brought us here. I'm no fan of these null either. But I refuse to stand by while people are used as pawns and killed. This is their game, not ours.
[His voice is low. No sunglasses this time. And even if his eyes can't see, they can absolutely reflect indignation and fury. And they are. Clearly.]
If you know anyone on this list, reach out to them. Warn them.
If you are on this list and cannot protect yourself, reach out to someone you trust to help. If you cannot protect yourself, I can help. I will help. Lives are not games or currency.

voice.
[And so she knows,] I'm Matthew Murdock.
[He agrees whole-heartedly though.] Sticking together is our best shot, if anyone takes them up on their offer, we don't need anyone to be on their own and immediately vulnerable.
voice.
( A name for a name is only fair. )
True. ( She'd suggest the guard - trusts several people in it, even - but by the sounds of it, this offer means that people will be looking out for their own interests. The organisation itself is currently meaningless. ) Not wise t' talk it out here.
( The network has been uncertain since The Null announced their presence, but now she's sure of it. It's a terrible idea to speak of anything too serious over it. )
voice.
[Unfortunate really, since it's convenient that they can reach each other, but still. He's been suspicious of it since day one, since it was given to them by the people who kidnapped them.]
voice.
... Could meet in th' caves.
( There's a lot of places in Hadriel to meet which are less dangerous, but if they can find a space in the ever-changing maze of the city's caves, they'll be harder to find, especially with the lack of signal and the monsters. )
voice.
[Too well for Matt. He's been. He's taken out a few monsters. The caves actually are a weird advantage for him, given that the darkness doesn't bother him.]
Certainly will keep anything from being overheard.
voice.
( She's definitely had more than a few occasions where it's all but impossible to call out from the caves, and maybe, just maybe that will do something against however the Null are monitoring the network. )
voice.
[Though only a bit, since some of the monsters see in the dark just fine, which sort of levels the playing field.]
You're right though. Doesn't seem to be much signal. Sounds like a good place for a conversation or two, to me.
voice.
voice.
[Better to meet there and head in together, since directions once inside are a bit dicey, so to speak.]
action.
totally handwavedword, she's standing outside a cave entrance directly north of the colosseum, leaning against the edge of the cave as she waits. )Hey.
action.
Hey. Hope I haven't kept you waiting too long?
[He's dressed all in black (his "going out perhaps fighting things" clothes. But no mask, no dark glasses.]
action.
Nah. So you're Matthew? ... Matt?
( Or is she missing another nickname here? Hew? )
no subject
[He answers with a smile.]
Yeah, that's me.
[A tilt of his head towards the cave, as though he's listening for anything that might be moving within.]
Shall we head in?
no subject
Sure.
( Thankfully, there's nothing in the mouth of the caves that's angling to attack stray people, still, Kate flares a brief flash of her power, eyes clouding over and scoping out further into the dark. )
'S clear.
( At least until they get to the places that fork off into a mess of curving, winding tunnels. )
Amount of people we're looking at... ( That list was getting impressively long. ) How many can defend themselves, d'ya think?
