[For once Matt has the video on. It's no use to him, but he wants his face to be seen this time, because this is serious. And he's furious.]
I'm going to guess most of us read the post that the ones who call themselves the Null posted. If you didn't, it's because you're on their list. The list of targets they've asked us to kill in exchange for the location of the god killer. I'm not the first to post about it either, but the louder the signal, the less chance it can be missed or ignored.
And it needs to be known.
This is the list of names as of this moment.

I'm no fan of the "gods" who brought us here. I'm no fan of these null either. But I refuse to stand by while people are used as pawns and killed. This is their game, not ours.
[His voice is low. No sunglasses this time. And even if his eyes can't see, they can absolutely reflect indignation and fury. And they are. Clearly.]
If you know anyone on this list, reach out to them. Warn them.
If you are on this list and cannot protect yourself, reach out to someone you trust to help. If you cannot protect yourself, I can help. I will help. Lives are not games or currency.

Combat medic. I was one of the doctors back at...well, where I come from.
But if people come into the clinic looking to come after me, I don't want anyone else to get caught in the cross fire. The people there are injured and sick. They don't need someone aiming at them.
And it's nice to meet you too Matt. Glad you're not trying to kill me.
no subject
[Because really. That is one place that needs to keep functioning, especially if shit starts going down.]
no subject
But I've set up hospitals in battle fields, if you can help put together a watch to keep those who need help in and to reach the clinic safe, I'll stay.
[Because Matt is right. If shit goes down, well, they're going to want someone whose had experience re-attaching limbs outside of a Starbucks.]
no subject
I"ll see if I can find some people. I'll pay closer attention there too.
[He spends a lot of nights patrolling the rooftops. A pause and he adds...]
You've got battlefield experience. That's good to know. There's not exactly an ambulance service here.
[People might need help and not be able to get to the clinic right away.]
no subject
Thanks. I appreciate it.
[He's so sick of this shit. He expects it back home, but this isn't home. This is bullshit.]
And don't worry, I come with my own ambulance service. My boyfriend is pretty good at getting people from one place to another quickly.
[Will usually did rounds around Hadriel, to see who was hurt and if they couldn't get to the clinic. Nico was a good ambulance. Will didn't see any reason to stop now.]
I'll do my best to keep everyone here alive. [Because they would need it. Things would hit soon. He could feel it.]
no subject
That a fact? Sounds like a pretty good combination. So be sure to look out for yourselves, too. Both of you.
[Better they're alive and well and able to help.
Matt offers a grim smile in agreement.] Same here. Your skills are going to be more important than mine here, if things heat up.
[Matt can fight. Intervene in a fight or two. Putting people back together? By far the greater good.]
no subject
[And people were going to die. They always did. Matt might hear the sound of Will's beaded necklace knocking together as he fidgeted with the beads. Or one bead in particular, etched with the names of the fallen.]
Everyone's skills will be needed. You keep on protecting people. I'll get them back into the fight.
no subject
[He can hear the sound, even through the audio feed, and while he can recognizes what it is, he can only guess at the sentimental meaning of it.]
Sounds like a deal to me. [Matt can't help but like this kid, though something about the way he talks and the words he said really belie how young he sounds.]
IF this does become war, we'll have a lot of new concerns. It might not be a bad idea to start preparations, for the worst case scenario. [Better safe than sorry, right?]
no subject
[Matt was right. Will sounds young, but he'd been through a lot. More than any fifteen year old should have to go through. He's glad it sounds like he can rely on you Matt, and that you won't try and shield him because he's a kid.]
It will.
[Will had no doubt this would end in war.]
The Null wont stop until they've found our weak spot. Barring that, overwhelming numbers solves everything. Let's just hope they don't know where are. Or no one tells them.
As far as I know, no one's found the leak yet.
[That was a problem.]
You're right. We should start preparing.
no subject
[Matt is still not convinced that this incident they're witnessing right now isn't some ploy by the gods to draw out the supposed mole. But he's keeping that particular theory mostly to himself, because even to his own cynical ears it sounds paranoid -- and he's been in a situation where a criminal kingpin owned half the city, so he knows paranoia.]
But we will prepare. Looking out for each other is a good first step. Is there anything the clinic would need if it were forced to ramp up the services it provides?
no subject
[Thankfully, Will had been in a situation where he had to ramp up resources and had run out. He knew exactly what he'd need. Thankfully he had a deal with Hope for demigod medical supplies, but mortal ones were useful too, not only for the mortal population but if they ran out of demigod supplies for demigods. ]
We'll need disinfectant, whatever you can find, alcohol, iodine, whatever. Soap, sutures, I'll take sewing thread, anything that can be used to sew someone together, surgical tape, duct tape, paper tape, bandages, gauze. I'll take towels, clothing, anything. Blankets, matches.....
[Will stopped to think. He hated that he had to think like this again. Water, well, they could use the river for...]
And shrouds. For if something happens to Hope.
no subject
[He'll be a sick ass ninja shrubbery though. A shrub of justice
But that aside. He nods at Will's list.]
I can find some of that, I'm sure. I know other people want to know a way to help too.
[A momentary pause, a wince that he tries to hide, but is certain is obvious. Ah well.] Hopefully it won't come to that, but yeah. Those too.
