Maglor throws out his hands and laughs, his eyes burning silver bright and fey and his voice with a shine to it like the polished edge of a blade.

"Three Ages we stood against our Enemy and all he could throw at us, and paid in blood for every inch we held against him. But we held! Dragonfire and Balrogs and betrayal of kin and ally, but he is defeated and I remain. And now you would name me enemy? Come then and let us see if you can do what the Enemy of the World could not! But."

And his voice drops to a low croon, darkly caressing, promise in every word.

"Anyone who touches my family dies."

Or not much, anyway. No choosing all the worst shifts! It will be better if we have a rotating system, anyway.

Still. Give me enough shifts that the others will have the time to put their talents to better use, at least at first.

Between armor for you and any defenses which require metalwork, they are going to be busy. The least I can do is take a few extra shifts, don't you think?

I will ask them if they want help in the forge, although it was never to my liking as a skill! We won't tell them that we are taking the shifts though, I think.
