[Live from Prussia's apartment, it's ill-advised video call time!]

You know why so many names are on this Null hit list right? Cuz we're not stupid. We're not falling for their shit. And if you are, then you're just as dumb as they are. Doubly so if you're the person who's been selling us out.

Anyway, I'm not afraid of you guys, or the Null, or the gods! So if you plan to come after me, know that I'm armed and I'm awesome.

[He gives the camera a confident grin and a wink.

Prussia looks down at his phone for a moment and looks over the list of names. It keeps getting bigger and bigger.]

...Is there really someone here named "Taako Taaco"? [He forgets he actually met this person.]

[Action - semi-closed to Yukari and others]

[Prussia really does have all the confidence in the world about his survival, and maybe too much faith that no one here is actually going to start murdering each other. But just in case, he takes up his duty as a Guard member and heads out to make sure no one is trying anything funny. He's carrying his broadsword nonchalantly over his shoulder, and is even whistling cheerily to himself. What he doesn't know is that there actually is someone who's out to get people, and they have some unsettled business. Thanks to Prussia's casual strolling, Yukari has a good chance of getting the jump on him, too.]

I side with the Null, clearly. But the homicidal mood is there as well. You can choose whichever you like~

[And it isn't long before Yukari is pulling out his trump cards. A wave of Electricity charges in a wave at Gilbert, with the strength to bring him to his knees for a solid few seconds should he succeed.]

I plan to find the God Killer, Gilbert-chan. Why you would oppose the access to the Door that the Null promised is foolhardy on your part. Tell me, what did you really hope to gain? Last we spoke, you wanted to overthrow the deities.

[No time to finish that thought. He doesn't have enough time to dodge that electricity attack fully - he's hardly faster than light. It makes him curse out Yukari in German and stumble to the ground, dropping his sword. He's immediately reaches for it again.]

Just because I'm not on the gods' side doesn't mean I'm on the Null's, you idiot!

What a foolhardy move. To not choose a side. Well, then, being indecisive will surely be your downfall. And here I thought you were experienced in war, Gilbert-chan. How disappointing.

[Yukari charges forward, rapidly attacking from every angle he can.]

Do try to keep it interesting before you die.

I'm on my side. Our side, the victims of this dumb scheme.

[He manages to grab his sword and get to his feet, but he's already slowed down. He's only barely holding Yukari back, his frustration growing that he can't seem to move quickly enough now to knock him back.]

That's the side you should be on, too!

[Yukari chuckles.]

Oh, the side that promises death? That's the side I should be on? Well, then, please do excuse my ignorance. I suppose I should change my ways right this instant. You've truly opened my eyes.

[Yukari charges another volt of electricity along the swords.]

Alas, I have no intention of such a thing. I'm afraid you're just going to have to be my sacrifice. Nothing personal, Gilbert-chan.

[The electricity knocks him flat again, and it's a struggle to sit up. But damnit, he's trying. He won't stop trying. If only he were the nation he once was, at his peak, when he was damn near unstoppable. While he still retained a lot of that strength, his recovery time was lost for good. A normal, healthy nation bounces back fast, but Prussia's injuries lingered for days and weeks now, longer than they even would on a regular human. Hadriel, the gods and the Null aside, all this fight is doing is reminding Prussia how limited his time is. His country ceased to exist over 70 years ago, and he's genuinely afraid that he might not come back from this fight.

Shaking, he reached for his sword and growled at Yukari through clenched teeth.]

No. I won't be anyone's sacrifice.

Well, with the way you're going, it certainly looks like you will be that sacrifice. Or do you plan to trade someone else's life for yours?

[That's totally baiting.

He gives his sword a flambouyant twirl, giving a fencer's pose.]

Come on, then. Stop me, if you can.

[And a devilish smirk.]

[The baiting will work. It always works too easily for him since Prussia acts before thinking.]

Just... yours.

[If Prussia lost here, everyone else on that list the Null published would be in danger too. If he didn't kill any of them already.

He manages to grab his sword, and shakily starts to get up. That's when he puts what's left of energy left and drives it all at Yukari. With a roar, he leaps at Yukari, sword high, and swings it at him with his massive strength. While he might not be the nation he once was, he still maintain that devastating strength he's always had. If it hits, Yukari will be hurting. If it misses, there's going to be a small crater on the ground where he was standing.]

[Heh. Yukari uses his sword as a buffer, taking the full blast of if Prussia's attack as their blades slide along each other. And Yukari actually collapses to a knee. Hmm... he hadn't anticipated that. And the injury in his side from Atem is suffering for it.

Looks like he won't get to play fair for very long.

Thankfully, he wears dark clothing, so the freshly soaking blood may not be entirely evident yet.]

Good! Keep trying and maybe I'll spare you.

[It's a lie, he has no intention of sparing Gilbert. In fact, he's going to make sure you have nowhere to run.

He erects his near-Colourless wall behind Gilbert, and then sends another shockwave of Electricity at Gilbert, just enough to stun temporily. But with any luck, it will be enough for Yukari to charge at and pin him to the wall like a butterfly on a board.

He has to get the upper hand quickly. Those stitches need to be tended to again.]

[The electricity does its job, and Prussia stumbles back, barely staying on his feet. He manages it, and when Yukari rushes him, he brings his word up to block him. He plans to slide back and try to get some leverage against Yukari, but he's not expecting that wall, and he hits it hard. Yukari has him right where he wants. Prussia is still fighting back, but all of these shocks are sapping his strength.]

Yukari clicks his tongue in mock disapproval.

"Gilbert-chan, what will you do now? Just as futile as you've always been."

A sigh, and Yukari actually gives a glimpse of a forlorn expression.

"You know, I really hate bullying, and normally I would spare you. But it's your life or his, and I choose him."

[Prussia tries to ignore Yukari's mocking, doing everything he can to push him away. But that last line catches him off guard. Yukari is doing this to spare someone else?]

I don't know what the Null told you... But you're an idiot for believing them.

Too bad that's only your opinion. You see, you know nothing of the Null. You have no veritable truth that they are the ones who are the ulitimate destruction, nor if they are the ones who bear lies. You could very well be on the wrong side, Gilbert-chan.

Too bad for you that I'll end your life before you get the chance to swear allegience to them. I'd really rather only have to kill one, you see. It's all I need to get what I want.

What's the point of killin' someone who comes back in a few days anyway? [Not that he wants to rely on that. Who knows when that little benefit might end? It doesn't make this idea any easier.]

And so could you! I'm only on my side, and I won't lose that way.

You don't think that perhaps they've created some way to prevent those that die from coming back? If he would simply come back, I'd certainly be less worried, don't you think? Come now, surely you aren't that naïve?

[Prussia tried to stretch towards his sword, but was going nowhere. But damnit, he was going to try.]

They can't do shit to us from wherever they're hiding.

[He is worried about that, though. He'd been worried about it since before he even got to Hadriel. Prussia was running on borrowed time.]

You really believe that? Do tell me, then. If they aren't capable, explain how they got the God Killers into Hadriel. That certainly doesn't seem like they're capable of only nothing without our help. It simply means that our help would be more useful than anything else.

[Blood starts to drip to the ground from Yukari's side, and he gives a faint huff of frustration, then swiftly trades it for a chuckle.]

Well, now, as fun as this has been, I do believe your time is up. Goodbye, Gilbert-chan. Perhaps whatever afterworld awaits you will be more suitable.

[With that, he sends a much more massive charge of Electricity toward the former-nation. He's going to resist using his sword if he can, since he doesn't want to exacerbate the injury even further.]
