1st wave: Video

[Of course Percy's first public post is from underwater. There's the lake fish darting past, and while the video feed is pretty clear the sound is fairly muted. There's garbled, distorted words before the feed turns around to face Percy... Who seems to ask a question before scowling, visibly sighing underwater and letting himself sink to the lake bed.

There's a rush of water and... A personal bubble of air grows around him. Percy also stays dry. There's still very clearly water all around him.]

So that was slightly less awesome than I thought it would be. But as I was saying, look at the cool fish! They seem pretty nice, for fish. Not very chatty though.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone's thought of building a boat or raft to hang out on when things go... how they're going. It's kinda hard to sneak up on a boat and attack people.

It's an idea anyway.

Speaking of defending things, I can mostly teach how to defend yourself in a fight if anyone wants it. Not guns though, but the whole monsters trying to eat us thing is... Not that new.

That's actually not a bad idea, but I don't know where we'd get anything to do that. Maybe someone could ask one of the gods for one.

Making a raft probably wouldn't be too hard.

That's not a terrible idea either, I just don't know how trustworthy they are.

The not-fish things could very well be corpses. I was told there were some remains in the lake.

Depends on the fish. I haven't met anything tropical, and lobsters are terrible conversationalists.

Will might know about building boats. But how would you escape if something did manage to get on the boat? Or I guess, how would the rest of us escape? You seem pretty comfortable in the water.

There'd be people to defend the boat, obviously.

It's a lot of energy and work to invade a boat, especially if it's out in the middle of the water.
