Did someone lose this? [Nothing holds up a denim jacket, just his size, and probably a better choice than the dirty coat he has on at the moment.] It's not mine. This thing is awesome though so I bet one of you wants it back.

I mean that a demon possessing my father had been raping me since I was twelve. Then, he wanted to be me next. But I wouldn't let him, so he killed me.

Everything. I found out I'm a vampire, I live with two other guys in a van, my dad was my lover before he got killed, and my favorite band killed him. And now I'm here, dropping acid with a cool girl who got raped and killed by a demon.

Laura just blinks a few times, not sure she heard right] I'm sorry, it may be the acid talking, but I'm pretty sure that you said you're a vampire, your father was your lover, and your favorite band killed him?

It's not the acid. That's what I said. [And in true Nothing form he asks:] Is it starting to hit you?

...wow. [she shakes her head] No, I think you win the award for most unusual life.

And, yeah. Everything's all shiny.

You're here, I'm not even in the running. [Everything that happened to him felt so natural, at least. In a very literal way he was discovering his roots. As far as he knew, no one in his life's narrative had ever suffered some sort of supernatural attack.]

Yeah, it stays shiny and you can see everything. I like that part.

Kind of? I mean, we drink blood. [They just usually end up killing people for it. Donations would be welcome in his eyes though.]

I like them too. They're one of the good things here.

So, how have you been getting it? [she wouldn't be open to being killed, but she'd be willing to donate]

Back home we killed people for it. Here? [He shrugs.] I don't have to drink it, but I feel a lot better when I do.
