I thought about making this private, but I have nothing to hide. My words are typed in the hope that they will do someone good.

I come from a world that is harsh and unforgiving. Decent people die everyday and, more often than not, there is no one to mourn them. Life isn't endless for most, though it can be exceedingly long, and I think, when it's all said and done, the thing that matters the most is how we spent our days.

Personally, I do not wish to be remembered as a victim. Whatever is in store for us (according to the Null) is outside of our control. Do what you think is right today.

Do not live in fear. Otherwise they win.

I cannot put into words how much you do for me.

I am watering the herb garden. We should not be leagues apart, I hope?

We are not - I will not be long.

[stonebird]

(She sets a watering can down at the call, smiling despite her fears. He has that effect effortlessly.)

I'm here! (To reinforce that point, she lifts her skirts and runs to him, wrapping him up in an embrace.)

Oof! [ He catches her, only the briefest of pauses before he tugs her close, running fingers soothingly through her hair. ]

There now, little firebird. I am here.

[stonebird]

(She might be a little enthusiastic, but every time she is feeling grim, she wants to be close to one of them - Maedhros, Fingon or Maglor in particular. The fear in her heart quavers before the love and happiness he evokes.)

I feel silly for missing you, but I did.

[bythewaves]

Well, I missed you too, so that is fair.

[ He smiles at her fondly ]

Shall we sit down or do you want to walk, a while?

[stonebird]

(She flushes hotly and pulls back, smiling without fully realizing it. The happiness comes naturally.)

This is a nice place for a walk. I think we should harvest as many herbs as possible for the move.
