[For someone that had just arrived not that long ago, when shit was going down, Lydia seems... calm enough as she's merely watching the scorching suns outside from what appears to be some sort of building, though she's made it pretty clear she doesn't want to give away the exact location.

Until she's sighing and hopping down from where she'd been perched, hair tied back in a high ponytail and a grin crossing pastel purple lips to match an outfit that could be clearly called gaudy consisting of that color and deep gold. And shiny enough to blind a person if she didn't seem to carefully understand the angles of that and this contraption.]

Gotta say, my dears, I think I vastly prefer the sun... suns, I guess, being out compared to some dank and dreary conditions you evidently had previously. Not that I'm terribly concerned, I don't require the same... conditions you humans the like do to survive in an environment like this, let's say.

[She's gesturing outside again, grin never faltering the whole way, showmanship forever on display if she can help it.]

I am not surprised in the slightest. 「It hurts to realize it anyway, not because of Taako, though, not really.」

Tell me, do you seek... retribution?

[She's silent as she watches the screen before she's shifting back to the form he'd seen previously, only for a rather vicious smirk to show on her lips, eyes narrowing.

For an elf, she can be terrifying if given the right circumstances.]

I want him to suffer as I have, with no recovery.

Hah... of course you do.

「He seems to consider it for a moment. How terrible would it be? Taako seems to deserve it... But believe it or not,
he's still not quite convinced. He just met her! And the truth is, calling Lup a friend doesn't quite cover what he feels for her, no matter if Lydia put it on doubt. He also knows how much Lup loves his brother too, even if he's a little prick. Unfortunately, he's aware, even if it's been through silly things so far, how little disregard both of them have for rules as well. He told Barry, didn't he? He told him that one day, it would catch up with her.」

[Prove it? She's never had to prove anything to anyone ever and having this turned around on her is earning him an earnest frown, nails digging into her palms as she even tries to comprehend how any of this makes any sense.

She wants him dead. His family dead. All of it in ruins for what he did to her. For what he did to her brother. Even blaming her existing again on him as well, it has to be some sick sort of joke and she absolutely does not appreciate a moment of it.]

Usually I'm on the other end of these deals, so forgive me if I seem... unsure of how to go about doing that.

You think you're the only one who has issues with others here? You think... some of us don't want to bring justice upon those who have wronged others?

「Eh, it seems he still can see wrong from right, huh?」

We are all stuck here, regardless of where we come from, of what we have done. I'm sure even you can understand that. Besides, you're confusing revenge with justice. Until you're able to see the differences, you're no different from him.

[Slowly she's taking in a breath, unneeded, but it makes her feel better at the very least. Calm her rage, calm her anger, keep it concealed and look at calm as is possible. Even while not getting her way, which is a rare thing and not something she deals with every day.

Especially in these past hundred or so years.]

Forgive me if I seem a little... upset. To me it's been less than a day since I saw what I did, it's to be understood if I'm a little upset.

「He can see her calming down, obviously she has a lot of strong feelings about the matter, unless she's an incredible actress.」

「Wait, just from how she's acting, he would have thought that happened a long time ago!」

Last I checked, before I ended up here I had died for good this time. After seeing my brother sucked into an umbrella and come back out as ashes.

No. If I had it my way, I wouldn't be here. I'd be somewhere else, even if in the Astral Plane, with my brothers.

[A brief pause, just.... letting out a soft sigh.]

What does someone do when their whole life and the extension of it, revolves around someone that close to you and you just lose them. Twice.

「Twice...

He could have to try to tell to her that he knows exactly how she feels, but if he were to experience that kind of separation again, he doesn't know if he would find the strength to go on.」

「Hypocrite? You have no idea.」

[For as well as this had been going, she's immediately snorting at that comment and just looking away now, making sure the camera is just catching her side than anything else.]

Easy for you to say, certainly. [And right back on the defensive.]

「But he doesn't know her! He won't be spilling the beans just like that.」

What I mean is... this place is full with people with stories like yours. I am not comparing you to them but, they kept going.

[Uh-huh, sure, she'll believe it when she hears it.]

Just because someone has the same situation happen to them doesn't mean it does the same thing to them. I can say this from centuries of experience. I have no plans to not survive while I'm here, but it's certainly more empty than I thought it might be.

「Sorry, he has to stare at her for a moment before he looks away. He... really knows how that feels. He doesn't need centuries of experience to know it hurts. He cannot tell her it'll get better, because it doesn't, one just tries to go on day by day.」

As I said, you will have no problem sustaining yourself here.

[It's a funny thing that she can't see her normal food source through video feeds, so she just sort of assumes the best or worst case scenario here.]

It certainly seems that way. Perhaps I'll just... go explore our new surroundings, not like a lack of water, food, or the sun will kill me or something.
