Hello. I realize I've not addressed the network recently so you may not know who I am if you are among our newer inhabitants. My name is Dr. Lee Rosen, one of the clinic staff. I am both a licensed general physician and a specialized neuropsychiatrist by trade.

I have a bit of an odd personal request. I am seeking anyone who has any special abilities not normally associated with the human species who might be willing to let me observe them. Purely observation and only at scheduled times, this is not a 24/7 type arrangement.

I do realize most of you are sensitive about any discussion of your personal lives so let me reiterate I am simply asking for volunteers. As such complaints about being prodded for personal information, while they will be taken under advisement, are unnecessary.

I would be grateful for any participants, please feel free to contact me if you are interested. This is purely for the purposes of research so it should have no adverse affects on anyone involved and the agreement can be terminated at any time at the participants discretion

Me! I volunteer! I am not a human so I can do things that I think most humans are not able to do?

Well, I need abilities not natural to individuals such as myself, but the participants themselves need not be humans or mortals. I will get a wider range of information if I have a variety of subjects.

ur definition of normally associated with humans and mine might be diff.
does magic fit that category or nah? its normal where im from but apparently thats not the case for a lot of ppl here.

Oh really? -- and you had who for subjects? People with psychic abilities? And did you have the chance to learn anything interesting or useful?

Your suspicions would be correct. 'Magic' is for all intents and purposes a fiction in my world, although there are abilities that are frequently mistaken for magic or miracles. However it is a gross misunderstanding, and a dangerous one.

It was, um...well it was more complicated than that. Back in New York my role had many facets. Research was where I began but it rapidly developed into treatment and care taking. I was the primary physician and psychiatrist for any number of individuals who began having symptoms of advanced physiological abilities. And depending on the severity of their case and the nature of their abilities they'd either remain in my care or they'd be referred onward to other facilities for care and assistance.

You see our world is not yet, er, open to the idea of individuals who can do things like manipulate thought or lift cars.

I can't be sure it will, but I hope so.

Back home my patients were all notable for possessing unusual abilities. All of these abilities could be physiologically explained so it wasn't 'magic' per say but to explore alternative types of abilities, whether it be magic or being non-human etc, could potentially give me perspective on the phenomenon I was researching in my own world.

That is about the long and short of it. Though I will need to observe 'you doing your thing' on more than one occasion for accuracy, and on each occasion I will be taking notes.

There are also questions I'd like to ask but of course answering those questions is optional. You may answer as many or as few as you'd like.

Is this a special project you're doing, Dr. Rosen?

[Depending on the squad event went, Rosen might already know about Komaeda's weird talent. Which isn't a superpower but might as well be. Komaeda doesn't think that Rosen would be interested though because his talent is just stupid and boooooring. He was surprised that Hope's Peak wanted to research it.]

Why do you need to do this kind of research?

Advanced physiological abilities? -- oh, you mean skills such as telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and telepathy? I believe those are the words used by some Hadrielites to describe their abilities.

Are you saying that having such abilities in your world would mean automatic confinement to a prison or a mental institution?
