duel 6. ( video. )
「He's been stalling on this for a while now, not sure of how to address it any longer, back then, when he first had learned about it, he was angry, frustrated, but now, not so much, he just wants answers. Might as well do this before there is more people coming into the city.
He looks thoughtful, mostly, as he stares idly at the camera not caring to hide the Millennium Eye stuck in his left socket as he did when they took pictures at Delmar's home. If everything went right, this would be the last time he would be seen wearing that creepy eye.」
Since everyone seems to be on the topic lately, I might as well remind you that there is a murderer among us. One that remains unpunished.
「Or so he thinks. He cannot keep wondering any longer, he needs to know. He needs to make sure there isn't someone running around killing people just because they think it's right. If that's the case.」
You, the one who killed Yukari, he might have deserved what you did to him, you made him pay for what he did, but you don't have my gratitude for it. Don't think you can hide forever. I will find you, no matter what it takes. And I will make you pay on his behalf.
「The tiredness in his voice, the aloofness in the way he speaks, the passion lacking in his usually prideful speech, doesn't quite make up for a good threat, maybe it's is not intended that way, but, it doesn't mean he's less determined about it. He will find them, he will read every person's mind in this city with the Millenium Eye if he has to. He can, why not simply do it?」

[audio]
Then what will you do to them?
[He heard that shift in tone, Atem. And he doesn't like it.]
[audio]
「Vague? Yeah. Honest? Yeah.」
[audio]
[As straightforward as ever.]
[audio]
I want to know why they did it, I want to know if they will do it again while they are here, if they are here at all. It all depends on that.
[audio]
[audio]
「But it has to be done, so long has passed without anyone giving a damn about it.」
I swore I wouldn't kill them, I swore I wouldn't torture them. I always keep my word, Nick.
[audio]
[Atem says he won't do this, and he won't do that. That doesn't mean someone or something else won't. Nick has dealt with a lot of people in Hadriel -- killers, magicians, even a sociopath who could summon some kind of invisible demon to do his bidding. He's not about to write off his suspicions just yet.]
[audio]
I will not ask for your trust about this. Whoever did this doesn't quite deserve any mercy. But I am willing to listen.
「Others wouldn't.」
[audio]
I'm hoping you are. You know what they say about an eye for an eye.
[audio]
I got a spare.
[audio]
[audio]
What do you want me to do, Nick, ignore it?
[audio]
[And that means not causing more trouble where it's not needed. He's not happy about the lack of justice in Hadriel either, but they've all had a lot on their plates lately, and if everyone goes out and starts doing whatever they like to whomever, and whenever they feel like it, they're just going to have even more to deal with. Atem might be after justice, but who is to say the next guy is? Or the next? Where does it end?]
[audio]
I cannot promise you that, even if I wanted. Trouble has a tendency to follow me around. 「Seriously, he didn't ask the universe to bring his sworn enemy to Hadriel. But here they are, being followed by drama.」
But I can try not bite off more than I can chew.「That is already saying a lot, not that Nick may know how big he usually goes, how the king he used to be usually wants to just fix absolutely everything by himself.」
