I've been stuck in my rooms for three days. I don't have words for how incredibly bored I am. I may well go mad.

So! In the interests of getting to know some of you better, let's chat. I have a question to start things off. What is one thing you wish people could know about you without you having to tell them?

For example, I wish I didn't have to explain that I am royalty. It's a bit awkward, and sounds like bragging, when really it's just the fact of who I was born to. So I'd choose that - or the fact that I prefer red wines to white. Then no one would ever have to worry about serving me the wrong thing. Actually, that one might be even more convenient.

What about you? At least some of you must be just as bored as me.

[Hayden raises his hand. Because, naturally, he has to wait for permission to be called on except that he starts talking as he raises his hand so he's not really waiting for anything at all.]

I want everyone to know that I work for the devil but that does not make me a bad!

[He understands you, Rhy. You were born royalty, he was born demonic, it's just a thing that you can't control. Okay, he sort of understands. It's at least a vague grasping of the idea.]

Was he a good boss?

[Hayden pauses, opening and closing his mouth. What an interesting question!]

I've never had a different boss so I am not sure what would be good or what would be bad. But, um...I think maybe, um, he was a good boss? Because if maybe would have been worse not to have one?

I don't know about that. Maybe having no boss is better than having a cruel one.

[As Rhy has never really had a boss, except maybe for his father, he has no idea what he's talking about.]

Was he cruel?

I don't think he was as bad as any other demons, because he was so busy all the time. As long as I didn't mess up he wouldn't get mad at me because he wouldn't remember I was there.

[Not exactly a helpful answer, but, you know.]

And less people try and beat you up when they think they're damaging an important person's property!

[It's probably better this is just audio, because then it doesn't betray how hard he's grinning.]

So you prefer a red, huh? You do dinner pairings with that or have you just gotten used to being served?

[Taako, stop.]

Well, I suppose that's a good point.

[Not... a great image, really, but Rhy supposes if you work for someone like that then that's about the best you can hope for.]

I certainly hope it's gotten better since you've come here, though. Less people beating you up in general.

Well, I am a prince.

[As if that should be enough answer, in and of itself. It's remarkable he hasn't starved already - he's used to being served, yep.]

But you didn't answer my question.

[Michael remembers Rhy. The guy who helped him with the axe. He's not in the best condition to catch up, but he also doesn't have much in the way of self-restraint.]

That I'm kind of messed up at the moment
and I would appreciate people not trying to piss me off.

do people serve you the wrong kind of wine often?
Like is that a problem you encounter a lot?
And yeah, definitely as bored as you.

Not havin' a name. People here seem to think that's weird, but it ain't a big deal back home. A name's an awful personal decision anyway. Don't really sit right with me when people make a fuss.

People give me cookies instead, which is my favorite! But I do not have a favorite type of cookie the way that you have a favorite type of [grape juice] wine! Is there a difference between when it is red and when it is white?

Ah, someone after my own heart. And it needs to be dry as the desert we're in.

[ Rose misses being able to taste wine. ]

As for me, I wish people would know that what I am isn't who I am. It seems to be a very common misconception.

What, got no board games?

[It takes him longer to reply via text. He's still pretty new at this phone thing.]

I will put my best effort into not pissing you off, then. Are you all right?

And yes. People serving me the wrong wine is a terrible problem in my life.

I'll try not to make a fuss, then, even if it is very interesting. Is there something that people call you? For example, if you were about to be attacked by a ravenous plant monster, what would I shout to get your attention?

Red wine tends to have a richer taste, and of course they're made from different grapes. Honestly, I wouldn't turn down either in a pinch.

[Hadriel, in and of itself, is 'a pinch'.]

Was there no one who gave you cookies at home?

You're right about that. It's too easy for people to look at what you are - what you were born as, whether that's as simple as status in life or something much more complicated - and believe that's all there is to you.

Not a one. And I wouldn't have anyone to play with if I did.

[The only reasons Seel could think of that this man would be choosing audio over video were that his hands were full, or he was ugly and didn't want to horrify everyone.]

Don't your servants know what you prefer? Or are you referring to events and dinner parties elsewhere?

[Honestly, Seel would be embarrassed if a servant didn't know what he preferred. But, Seel was an ass.]

I don't think anyone quite understands the implications of a dinner party fiasco until someone's stabbed someone with a fork.

I realize I'm not actually answering your question, but did you happen to bring any of your servants with you?

[Margaery looks considerably less cheerful than she was in the dream where they met. her hair's disheveled and she's wearing a bolt of fabric wound around her like a sari instead of one of her usual gowns]

I wish that they'd understand why I'm royalty. And I wish they'd understand why I'm so sad.

Tragic, I know. Do you have a hidden collection of board games? I'd invite you over, but, well - sandstorm.

[The actual reason is that he's new to phones and has a really hard time focusing the camera properly. Better to broadcast just his voice instead of video of the corner of his room or something.]

I can't very well expect other people's servants to know what I like - though of course, the best always do anyway.

[And Rhy is certainly not in the habit of demanding to be catered to, prince or not.]

Unfortunately I seem to have left all my servants at home. I've been fending for myself - and doing quite well, I must say.

The second one is always very difficult for people.

[Especially since no one likes to talk about those things.]

The first... well, does it make so much of a difference to you?

[That was a reason Seel could understand, and should at least be sympathetic toward, given Swift's lack of understanding of a 'phone'.]

Too bad, I was hoping to borrow some. I've managed to learn how to boil water for pasta but I must say I'm quite missing Yarrow's cooking. And being served.

How are you managing? I don't suppose you have any words of advice?

[Seel's eyes widened, as if he just realized that in moving out to his own apartment, he had to do things like dishes and laundry. Oh Ag what had he done?]
