Have you been able to talk to Dr. Sweets? I know you're friends. I'm concerned about his health and mental state.

Has something happened?

[He sits up where he had been slouching at his kitchen table, half fretting half confused]

[Will is pretty shocked that Rosen has to even ask that question. Did he not see the same Lance?]

A few days ago? And you didn't notice anything off? He's been bad for a few weeks now I think.

He's stopped working at the clinic. Honestly, it seems like he's barely holding things together.

He also won't let me touch him to make sure he's physically alright. He claims it's psychological but....he's not exactly being open and forward.

Oh. I thought you meant you feared something along the lines of God interference

Yes yes. I've noticed that he looks unwell. Tired, haggard, weak on his feet-- But you are kidding yourself if you expect Lance to be open and forward about this.

As for the clinic, his office was destroyed when the Null destroyed the original clinic location. When I last spoke to him one on one he had said he was working from his apartment.

Wait. You noticed he didn't seem okay and you didn't do anything?

Of course Lance isn't going to be open about this! I had to show up at his apartment to make sure was actually functional. Which, he is only partially. I don't think he's doing his patients any favors while trying to help them when he's having trouble helping himself.

I'll thank you not to be presumptuous about relationships you know nothing about.

[Look. Lance is a touchy subject and there is a long history here and one he doesn't feel close enough to Will to divulge at this time]
