( The video opens to half a second of Serah looking vaguely unsure about what she's doing before a smile crosses her face when her phone begins recording. )

Hi. ( Start with manners. It's only polite. ) I'm Serah. I'm one of the newer people here. And, well, back home I was a teacher. I know this place doesn't have a proper school or anything, but I wanted to help with that.

( Which is why she's stood in a building, one which has seen better days but is in one piece. )

I think, if we fix this place a little, we could use the rooms for hosting lessons.

( How can you say no to that optimistic little voice.

A breath before she speaks again- )

That's all I wanted to say. Thank you for listening.

( Serah Farron out. )

( Good, more helpers. The gentle uptick of the corners of Serah's mouth blossom into a full blown smile as she hears that confirmation. )

...Yeah. Dr. Sweets gave me the idea. ( There's a soft shrug of her shoulders at that admission. It's a good idea to have somewhere people can use to hold classes. )

[Abigail returns the smile.]

We could make out a schedule, so the people teaching can take classes too.

[She glances at the building in the video.]

Guess we should clean it up first. I can come over now to help.

If people are interested.

( She's not sure how much structure people would want for something like this. But for that second point- )

That'd be great.

( She'll even send some directions over to make it easier to find her. )

Cool. I'll grab some cleaning supplies and be right over.

[She takes the things she's gathered for cleaning her apartment, she still has Hannibal's need for keeping things very tidy, and follows the directions to the building. She knocks on the door when she arrives.]

Hey, it's me. Abigail.

( Ah, good. Serah's managed to find a few pieces for cleaning but the stock in the shops is so strange and low that she doesn't have all that much available to her. )

Oh, hello there. ( She tosses a dusting rag over her shoulder as she approaches the young woman, offering a smile. ) I'm glad you found the place. ( Which means this is in a clear, comprehensible location, right? )

[Abigail returns the smile with one of her own.]

Me too. The directions helped.

[As did her experiences with her father and Hannibal. A good hunter is able to navigate well and find her way around.]

Where should we start? Do you have a list of what needs to get done?

( Admittedly, any listing has been done in her head rather than on paper, but Serah gives a brief nod anyway. )

The kitchen and bathroom need to be mopped and washed down. ( There's also a fair amount of dust everywhere, but those are the things she hasn't been able to start yet. ) I couldn't find a mop...

( But maybe that's included in Abigail's cleaning supplies? If not, Serah thinks she can makeshift one with a broom and a cloth. Probably won't work as well, though. )

I've got a good cleaning solution for mopping here.

[Abigail holds up a bottle and a 'mop'.]

Water, vinegar and soap. The mop's one I made. It's just a large sponge on a stick, really. And I've got some rags. If we had another stick, we could make another mop. I have baking soda too, if there's smells. I don't have any tea-tree oil though. I don't suppose you do?

[One of Hannibal's preferred ways to clean. He liked everything to be perfect.]

Have any animals made a home in the building?

( Oh good. Those will work. )

I have a broom... ( They can make a mop with that. But a quizzical look passes over Serah's face at the mention of tea tree oil. The words are largely meaningless to her, though she can guess it's some sort of cleaning agent. ) No. I don't think so. I haven't seen any animals, either.

( Are there even any animals in the city? Serah's hardly seen anything that would indicate that. )

[Abigail agrees and smiles.]

A broom's even better to improvise with.

[She nods. She knows it'd be a hard find. Few people are as fussy as Hannibal]

That's good. I wouldn't want to have to chase out any monsters or abandoned pets. Any mold or anything we could breathe in?

In one of the bedrooms. Upstairs on the right. ( A small cluster in the corner that needs to be looked at. There's plenty of material around to cover their mouths that Serah has managed to find, but they're not exactly masks either. )

Just one room. That's not so bad.

[At least it wasn't in the rooms they'd be mopping. Hopefully, they wouldn't have to tear anything out and replace it.]

So, which way to the nearest kitchen or bathroom?
