[the video opens on Margaery sitting in the sewing shop, three half-finished garments behind her. she's smiling, although it doesn't quite meet her eyes. she's still haunted by her loss last month and while being a child was fun, it still doesn't erase her melancholy entirely]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that the Sewing Shop is again open for business. I've come to a deal with Tranquility to acquire fabric. I'm also available to teach sewing to anyone who wishes to learn.

[she hesitates a moment]

And I wanted to--to apologize to anyone who had to deal with me as a child. I suppose I was rather. . . full of myself back then.

Indeed. Previously, I was making things like lined dresses and hide cloaks. Now it's all light dresses. At least I assume they're dresses. I've never worn anything above the ankle before.

I probably won't ever ask you for a dress. [And if she does? Something's up.]

Why not? You're a beautiful young woman. [up like a boyfriend~?]

[Up like Jo is doing something that requires people to be distracted.]

That doesn't mean I have to wear a dress.

[oh. well, that's much less fun]

A dress would be much cooler in this climate.

So are shorts. [She laughs quietly.]

[she tilts her head to one side]

What are shorts?

[Oh, right.]

They're like the pants you made me, but shorter. I think that's why the name is "shorts".

Oh! [she considers] I don't think I could ever wear such a thing. It would be terribly immodest. I wouldn't know what to do with my legs.

[Jo laughs quietly.]

You use them like normal. It's not immodest.

[she tries to picture herself in shorts. she fails]

Well, I suppose that the rules for such things vary from place to place. In Westeros, most ladies don't even show their ankles.

You've never worn anything but long dresses?

[She'll get to Westeros later. Maybe.]

No, never. Granted, as I grew up, the necklines dropped a bit [or a lot], but I've spent my entire life in long gowns suitable for court.

[Margaery is never going back. she's dead there]

Shorts are good for the same thing necklines are. [Jo chuckles.]

What do you mean, court?

For cooling oneself in hot weather along with the, ah, visual appeal?

For the royal court of Westeros, where I was once queen.

Exactly. [Jo chuckles.]

Where's Westeros?

I see. Still, I'd feel uncomfortable showing so much of my legs. It's strange, I know, but I wouldn't be able to shake the feeling that everyone was looking at me.

It's. . . far away from here. It consists of seven kingdoms, the North, the Westerlands, the Riverlands, the Vale, the Iron Islands, Dorne, and the Reach. For a while, I was queen of all of them.

That's the point. [If they're looking at the legs they're not watching her steal from them, or anything else she needs to accomplish.]

You were queen and now you're just sewing for people? Don't you hate that?

Oh. [she lifts the skirts of her dress up slightly and stares down at her legs, then lets the dress drop down again.

well, she didn't hate it until now, thank you] I--well, we all have to make do with what we can, under these circumstances.

[Sorry, Margaery.]

I guess. It's a chance for a new start if you want one.

Yes. Yes, it is. This place is no place for queens.

It's not really a place for many people. [Even though she's been here for so long, sometimes the itch to be home is unavoidable.]

No, I suppose not. Although, I know people who want to stay. [Margaery would never be one of those people]

They have good reasons. [Jo manages not to say we. Honestly, there's still nothing for her back home except Heaven.

Heaven is good, she'd never really complain about it, but Hadriel is kind of nice.]

Yes. I know that--that many people are also dead in their world and don't have the hope of going to another. [when Margaery died, all she found was a void. nothingness. she's not going back to that.

Hadriel will do for the time being, but she's set on going to Matt's world by any means necessary]
