Video 4 - Sewing Shop

[the video opens on Margaery sitting in the sewing shop, three half-finished garments behind her. she's smiling, although it doesn't quite meet her eyes. she's still haunted by her loss last month and while being a child was fun, it still doesn't erase her melancholy entirely]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that the Sewing Shop is again open for business. I've come to a deal with Tranquility to acquire fabric. I'm also available to teach sewing to anyone who wishes to learn.

[she hesitates a moment]

And I wanted to--to apologize to anyone who had to deal with me as a child. I suppose I was rather. . . full of myself back then.

Yes, I do! The only payment I require is a bolt of fabric from Tranquility for future use.

Oh, huh...

[Tranquility, the god guy Alana...yelled at.

Welp.]

How do I...does he give those out?

[...whoops]

All he asks is that you calm someone who is agitated or over-excited. It's--not exactly simple, but it's fair.

Huh.

[ She pauses, just for a moment, fairly awkwardly. ]

Lets say, hypothetically, you, huh- got agitated with him. Or at him.

Would that be an issue?

[she considers]

Well. I wasn't especially polite to him when we first met, but he was willing to work with me all the same. I suppose he'd be willing to do the same with you?

Huh...

Well, he did sound pretty...calm, the whole time.

Honestly, it kind of made it worse, to be honest.

I suppose that comes with being Tranquility?

It's not satisfying to yell at someone who doesn't yell back.

Kind of made me want to punch him through the screen.

[ Maybe it's for the best that she didn't meet him in person back then. ]

Do they, huh...take calls?

[she laughs] Understandable. Hope provoked the same reaction in me.

[yes, possibly? she'd assume that the so-called gods wouldn't take well to being punched]

I'm. . . honestly not sure. I went in person.

Oh. Hum, where?

[ For so-called gods, they're apparently weirdly easy to reach, by what she's heard. Weird. ]

To his temple. It's not hard to find, fortunately. They're across the river from the spires, keep walking until you're nearly at the edge of town.

[yes, they are. which is part of why Margaery doesn't believe that they're real gods]

Huh.

[ She pauses, rather awkwardly.]

So these hyper powerful, emotion-eating god-like creatures are our neighbors?

[ She probably should have caught that earlier, but, you know, she assumed it wouldn't be that easy.]

Yes! I thought it was so strange when I first arrived. The gods where I come from are much more distant and even more cruel.

[gods are usually far from accessible]

Sounds like some weird shitty "They're just like us" talk show. Kinda takes the, huh, "magic" out of it, right?

[ Are they just magic cult leaders or something? Wreatheans have weird emotion-fueled magic too, maybe there are creatures out there that feed out of them instead...]

A bit, yes. And they seem to act. . . human for lack of a better word.

[so are the captives influencing the gods somehow?]

Those are some weird humans.

[ Funny enough, Alana doesn't even register that Margaery might not know that Alana isn't one.

Wouldn't say they act that normal. Considering my, huh, chat the Tranquility guy. And Love, by that matter.

This place seems to be a haven for those, yes.

[she wouldn't know unless she was told. while Westeros has its nonhuman residents, they're only myths and legends to Margaery]

Love seemed a bit peculiar, yes. Tranquility at least was reasonable when I approached him for my fabric request.
