[Prussia is finally getting set to fix his communication problem, and he knows it'll be a cinch! He swallowed his pride and turned to a god for help, since it didn't seem like it was going to clear up on its own. He went to Tranquility to see what he could do. This might seem like an odd choice for Prussia out of all the gods, but honestly it's because he thought Tranquility would go easiest on him, and he can be so very, very lazy.
So far, ol' Gil thinks he's right. Just a few favors! Couldn't be more simple! Except, he still can only speak in German, so like 90% of folks in Hadriel can't understand him. How is he even going to tell people he needs to help them without being able to talk to them? No matter. He'll figure it out.
After some thought, Prussia decides that the best time to help people is when the newbie flood arrives. Continuing on his laziness streak, he's going to approach what he thinks look like easy targets. How does he do that? By hiding behind the few scant rocks or trees, or maybe the corner of a building, and watching you do whatever it is you're up to. Of course, longer-term residents aren't escaping his sight, either. If someone looks like they need help with literally anything, whether you really do or not, Prussia's following you.
If you're feeling like you're being watched, it's because you actually are. Turn around, and you'll see red eyes peering at you from nearby, and when caught, Prussia leaps out from behind his hiding spot and enthusiastically proclaims something you probably don't understand.]
Lassen Sie mich Ihnen helfen!
[[ooc - please note his player doesn't speak a lick of German and this is all coming from an online translator and I'm so sorry.]]

She's not sure what that says about her life. That it's weird, probably. Either way, it does the job of getting her attention. She'd been carrying bags of moist soil closer to the pools to hopefully try and fertilize her plants better. The cave weed was especially suffering lately with this arid environment... She's gotta' do something to keep that shit alive. ]
Uh. Hi?
[ Try again, Rosie. ]

Also, he really needs to remember to stop using words. It's a lot harder than you think. Prussia gives her a quick wave in greeting, and then points to the soil she's carrying. He then points to himself, nodding quickly, and then flexes a bicep for good measure. He's nice and strong and here to help!]

You wanna' help?
[ The blond lets the soil out of her hands and gives an 'after you' gesture towards it. She could use the break. This heat is killer and any little bit goes a long way. ]

He sure does seem to sweat a lot under Hadriel's suns though. The pale skin, white hair, red eyes... Prussia's definitely not built for his environment. But if it bothers him, he sure does a good job of not letting it show. He gives Rosie a thumb's up, then gestures for her to lead on.]

Once he's got himself all situated, the blond starts to head again towards the direction of the orchard. ]
If you start to overheat or anything, lemme' know dude.

And when she does happen to spot him and he jumps out to start yelling at her...? ] ...Pardon?
[ He's a strange one. But this does bring up a curious point: that somehow he can speak another language in this place. She's already assumed there is some magic gimmick to ensure that everyone here understands each other, and to finally hear another language is odd. ]

Except. Except. he has no idea how to convey this desire to play tour guide without being able to speak it. Prussia's expression falls as this dawns on him. He's been getting by on pantomime the last few weeks, but this is a tough one.
He opts for pointing at Zelda, then to the whole area in general. He hopes that's enough to indicate Hadriel. Then he points to his forehead and nods knowingly. He knows all about this place and can help! Whether or not he conveyed that properly is another story.]

She says aloud what she is interpreting, looking to him for assertion that she's reading him right: ] Me... This place... [ When he points to her and then around them. ] You are [ Hm. ] knowledgeable of it? [ Sounds about right.
Ah, so this young man wants some sort of introduction?? ] My name is Zelda, I am new to Hadriel myself. [ And to cell phones. And to skittles. And to Silent Hill nurse monsters haaaaa.... ]
no subject
He can't type out anything new on his phone for her either, or it'll all come out in German too. Frustrating, this quirk, considering back home he certainly spoke more than one language. But it's okay, this is all in order to get this fixed!
He points to himself again, then around the area, then back to Zelda. He can show her around then, yes?]
no subject
She leans in, reading the name. ] Gilbert? [ She reads aloud, canting her head. ] I am Zelda. [ She introduces herself, bringing a hand to her chest.
And with names out of the way, she the nods when he finishes his gesture. ] You wish to... show me more? [ Seems like it. ] Ah-- no where foggy, I do hope. [ She's had enough of that for now. ] But if you could, perhaps, show where one is suppose to find lodgings, that would be helpful.

that is, until he's nearly accosted. holding his hands in the air and taking a step back, a combination of both his glasses and hair seemed to conceal his expression.
about as deadpan as he looks, comes his response. ) I surrender.
