This is Inquisitor Trevelyan with a report on the findings of a group that included myself, Cole, Aren, Kate, and Sharon. We left to travel early this month and spent about seven days exploring in one of the other cities.
The area that we came across seemed completely untouched, as if no one had ever lived or battled there. There were no signs of a fight at any point, or of life. We didn't find as much as a single footprint to suggest that anyone had passed through the city before our party.
The only areas that gave off any sense at all were the temples, as each of us was able to feel the influence of Hope when we spent time within that temple. Still, they were more echoes than anything.
We should be sharing what we've all found in these journeys, so please let me know if you have any questions or if anyone had an similar experience.

Ours was fairly uneventful. People had different experiences?
[Text]
As far as I know, ours was the only one like this.

There's an awful lot of questions and few answers.
Re: [Text]
Or else they give the people who have them too much power.

[ It could be that second thing she'd said. ]
I'm not sure if I think it's the gods who are keeping them from us. It's hard to be sure of anything, here.

Like the gods created it and disappeared...?
( It's... another kind of creepy entirely. )
text.
Did you venture out into the desert?
text.
Yeah, but it was all normal.
Well, as normal as ruins can be, I guess.
( As in, there were signs of damage and wear, of life and all the other good things. )
text.
I haven't heard yet that anyone else found a city like the one we came across.
text.
( Because surely it has to mean something, but Serah isn't versed enough in the Null or this world to hazard a guess yet. )
text.
Beyond that? It's very difficult to say. We know so little, even after all this time.

I think one single deity isn't likely to provide the answers we need.
We should find those who are closer with each and see what they can learn.
Some people here have more of a connection with individual gods than the rest of us.
text.
( Essentially? That's... so far from what she knows of Gods. )
text.
Some of us are closer with them, though, I believe.

One or two others, maybe. They're all fairly unhelpful.
Well, Sorrow did help me to plant some elfroot, and Hope brought me back to life twice, but beyond that...
text.
( Because that's the thing to concentrate on, Serah. )
text.
text.
( Hm, she wonders if she can do the same with potions and elixirs... )
text.
There isn't much more dramatic than that in exchange for a glorified weed.
text.
( Uh. Sorrow. What kind of ego trip. )
text.
text.
( Paying for things with tears, that is. )
