Good, it's late. But I skipped dinner and this smells amazing, so I'm eating anyway.

[ She must've swung by the garden specifically for this, too. ]

Okay. You don't have to ask to come over, you know. If you just need a break or whatever, you can just show up.

It's your place, though. You might have a friend over or want to be alone.

[ He takes a bite of his dinner and hums approvingly. ]

I hope these aren't hard to make because I'm definitely asking for them again.

They're not hard, they just take a while. And it doesn't bug me, seriously.

Nope. You're going to have to try way harder if you want me to get sick of you.

[ Though he's got something terrible planned that could do the trick. He might chicken out but figured they might need to lighten the mood later. ]

[She drapes an arm around him, grinning.]

Hurry up and eat.

[ He's eating, geez. Excuse him for enjoying something made special and not just inhaling it. But he speeds up a little at her urging. ]

You tired?

Nope. I figure there's another way I can cheer you up.

[ His smirk at that probably gives his plan away, but hopefully she'll just write it off as excitement or something. For now he focuses on finishing off dinner. ]

[She trusts him, so she has no idea he's about to betray her, so she just waits, stroking his hair as she does.]
