[ Though she's had her hands on the communication device for months, Cecily still isn't entirely sure how to use it. Not well enough that it's taken her until now to send out a city-wide message, anyway. As a result, though, she texts as if she's writing a letter. ]

Hadriel, Her name may be 'Delight,' but do not forget that she is one of them. Do not forget all that they have done to us since our arrival and how little they know of us or care for our safety. Most of all, do not forget the last time that they offered us something edible. I promise that I am as much in need of a drink as anyone else, but I remember too well what their gift of food did for us, or, rather, to us. He did, but that was the first offering he had made, and many of us were too wary to approach him. Can you blame us? We had no reason to trust him. That is something, at least. Thank you.

I'm not sure why you think you had no reason to trust him... I'm not saying you should be grateful or anything, but he's not the one doing these things to you.

We had only his word to go from. We still do not know how we arrived here. It was a lack of information than anything. I think that many people, too, are wary of putting their faith in gods of any kind.

Oh!!! I can answer that. You arrived here because Fear threw open an artifact called the Door. It takes people in from your own worlds, I think?

He won't tell us where it is or how it works, but that's what it is!

Hope said he did not know which god brought us through. So it was Fear all along. That is not a surprise. Why did he do it? To draw from our fear?

Did he say that? Weird. Maybe that was before Fear came clean.

That sounds like a question for Fear. I'm not sure what goes on in his thoughts anymore.

I cannot believe that Fear would ever "come clean." I doubt that he would answer truthfully. He does not seem the sort.

I meant about being the god who brought you here. Did he keep it a secret from you?

Doesn't he? He has his plans, but I suppose there's no harm in asking.

I suppose not. How best do we get into contact with you? It seems strange to use these devices to speak with gods.

Then I am perhaps unfairly judging him but do not apologize for it. I cannot forgive the deaths he's caused.
