Video 7 - Sewing Shop
[the video opens on Margaery in the Sewing Shop, dressed of course to impress and show off her work. what is unusual is that she's holding a sword in her lap and that the Shop looks like it's been scrubbed from ceiling to floor and everything in between.
what may also be unusal to those who can notice such things, there have been magical wards placed around the Shop to deter violence and keep certain types of beings out.
Margaery smiles welcomingly at the camera, although those who know her well enough can tell that it's a little forced]
Hello, everyone! The Sewing Shop is open again to attend to your needs. Can you not find what you're looking for in the shops? Or are you just plain sick of wearing the same things day in, day out? Come in and request whatever you need. The only payment I require is a bolt of fabric from Tranquility.
I also give sewing lessons to those who wish to learn.
[to Washington and Kelson]
I have what you requested ready for you to pick up at any time. I hope to see you soon.

action
Have you been having nightmares?
action
Yes. Assuming I'm able to sleep in the first place.
action
[She tries to think of the ways Hannibal helped her.]
Do you live on your own?
action
[she sits in a chair in the corner of the shop]
No, I share a house with three people.
action
[That was the hardest part for her, being alone with the nightmares. She finds a chair to sit in, across from her.]
I wish I'd been here to stop it.
action
[she reaches over and squeezes Abigail's hand]
There was nothing you could have done. The demon would have killed you, too.
action
[Abigail gives her a small, sad smile.]
I still feel like a bad friend.
action
[she smiles sadly back]
You're not. You're a wonderful friend.
Re: action
[Killing her friends, or maybe even killing Abigail herself.]
I'm glad I met you here. I wish here could be better for you. For all of us.
I'm so sorry, I never got the notification! :(
[it could easily happen. the creature seems to have no sense of remorse.
her expression softens] I'm glad I met you here, too. And I, too, wish that here could be a better place.

[It makes her feel a little trapped. The same way it was with her father, the same bad things happening over and over.]
Yeah. A better place with us and Hannibal. And ice cream for hot days. What would you put in a better place?
no subject
[it makes Margaery paranoid. she can't help looking over her shoulder, waiting to be attacked. that's why she's taken to wearing her sword everywhere]
That sounds wonderful. I would so love to meet Hannibal. And what would I put in a better place? [she smiles] Matt. I'd put him there.
no subject
[She gives a small smile.]
He'd love to meet you two. That's how we can think of them. In some other better world. I think that's what Hannibal does for me. Keeps me in a fancy room in his memory palace when we're separated. Like the fancy places he wanted to show me in Europe.

[she smiles back.
she closes her eyes and pictures it, then smiles] I would love to picture them in a better, happier world. One where no one would have to worry about demons or gods, one where you could just live and be happy there. [she laughs] And being surrounded by beautiful things wouldn't hurt.
no subject
[It makes sense to her. The god events usually have them suffering in one way or another, why not everything else.]
All the beautiful things. Like art and nature. Beautiful sounds too. Music that plays whenever they want it to. And beautiful food that fills the room with delicious smells and tastes amazing.

[only this is a suffering that doesn't go away after a week]
All of that sounds perfect. I wonder if there is a world like that, one with nothing but joy to balance this world of torment?
no subject
Maybe there is. I never thought worlds other than my own existed, not really. But if this place is real, than other places could be real too.

[It's much more hopeful than her normal views. It feels nice to imagine it for a moment.]
