[the video opens on Margaery in the Sewing Shop, dressed of course to impress and show off her work. what is unusual is that she's holding a sword in her lap and that the Shop looks like it's been scrubbed from ceiling to floor and everything in between.

what may also be unusal to those who can notice such things, there have been magical wards placed around the Shop to deter violence and keep certain types of beings out.

Margaery smiles welcomingly at the camera, although those who know her well enough can tell that it's a little forced]

Hello, everyone! The Sewing Shop is open again to attend to your needs. Can you not find what you're looking for in the shops? Or are you just plain sick of wearing the same things day in, day out? Come in and request whatever you need. The only payment I require is a bolt of fabric from Tranquility.

I also give sewing lessons to those who wish to learn.

So, huh...been doing this for long?

[Margaery takes measurements of her arm's length and the circumference of it at her bicep and wrist, then writes them down in her notebook]

As Queen of Westeros, I was expected to spend part of my day helping to make garments for the less fortunate. Here, it was a necessity as none of the clothing options suited me.

Whoa, really? That's pretty cool.

[ Really not something she was expecting to hear. Sure, there were rulers, the good ones, who made sure their people were provided for. But she never really heard about one of them providing that directly.]

And, yeah, looks like the choices are pretty limited here. Whatever god thing that fills up the stores doesn't know a lot about fashion, huh?

Thank you. It was something I instituted as queen. My [a note of distaste enters her voice] predecessor did no such thing.

[the Tyrells were always into charitable works. it was good public relations and Margaery always operated on the idea of making the people love her and want to be ruled by her. and her voice returns to normal]

Not one bit about fashion. Perhaps some are content to wear jeans and tshirts all the time, but not I.

I mean, that's pretty good for a chill day.

Like the more, huh, the more stretchy, easy-to-move-in stuff, myself. Works with the job.

[she prefers silks and damask. they're more appropriate for a queen]

Oh, huh, I usually wear black. But green's pretty cool too. Like dark greens?

Oh, I see! I've never heard such a term before.

I have a black in a stretchy sort of fabric that should suit. I do have some dark green, though it's better for more formal occasions. I could still show it to you if you'd like?

Oh, yeah, that sounds perfect. Not sure how many, huh, formal events there are around here, though. But yeah, lets do it.

[ She huffs a gentle chuckle.]

Should probably ask, I'm not, huh, good with fashion, haha. What looks good with, huh, blue? [ She gestures at herself, pointing out the blue and grey hues of her body. ]

We have them from time to time. Were you here when Hope gave us the feast?

[she smiles warmly]

Well, you've already chosen black and dark green. Gold can look good with blue, though it may clash with the grey. So perhaps silver?

Yeah, but, not sure I'd count that as formal. Right?

And ah, that sounds pretty fancy. Silver and black's pretty sleek, though.

I suppose not, but it was nicer than the bulk of the things the so-called gods do.

Is there something wrong with sleek?

No no, it's good! I like sleek. Works with the whole, you know, the whole rogue thing.

[she beams at Carey]

Then sleek you shall be!

Would you prefer form-fitting or something a little looser?

[ She hums in thought, crossing her arms.]

I mean, both are good...but-- considering the, huh, the stuff this place throws at us, maybe something I won't, won't trip on? Fitting, yeah.

Then you shall have it. It should take about a month, depending on what this place throws at us.

Great. [ She smiles.] So, huh, one roll per piece, or?

Yes, that's right. Any color will do--except for yellow or orange. We don't have many requests for those colors.

Got it. [ She makes a mental note. She has no idea how she'll actually be able to get those roles, but, all things considered, some time with her friends and she should probably get at least a couple.]

So, hum, what now?

Right now, I consider designs, keeping your measurements and specifications in mind. I'll want your approval of the final design and then I'll get to work.

Even thought about getting an assistant or somethin'? Can't be easy doing, dressing up most of the city.

Sansa assists me. She's very good. She has the neatest stitches I've ever seen.

Oh, that's good. [ Still, feels like a lot of work for only two people. They must really work hard.]

Listen- [ Maybe this is a little awkward, and a little sudden, but hopefully appreciate it.] I huh, don't really have any clothes-making skills or nothin', but if you guys need anything, I'd be happy to help.
