So your demon lords, faeries, ancient spirits or whatever, they don't like mortals?

I agree with you on the nature of what you call the small time deities. They're not gods, they're just other things in the world. Ours never claimed to be gods, though.

And about the unicorns. Elves and Valar lived inside a circle of mountains, and most of the light in the world was inside that circle. That was the "civilized" realm. Outside, beyond the mountains, there was darkness, and it was inhabited by creatures of the darkness. Not all are evil, but all of them are wild, fabulous, mythical beasts. We didn't see unicorns down in the valley, they didn't come down there. We just heard occasional rumors of them, from people who didn't know much about them. My brother and I didn't think of them as being any more sacred than the deer we hunted in the woods.

There's a law against XDing you? XDD

What's the significance of fucking 2003?

Those demons and whatnot sound like they can be a nuisance.

You have Elves in your world, too? What are they like?

The deer were fairly wild and fabulous, actually. Everything on the continent of the Valar was like that. Magical. It was just a matter of how magical.

The XD thing, heh. Sounds like you feel the same way about old chatspeak as I feel about old-time methods of writing. I haven't often seen another Elf use the runes since my dad invented the Elven-script in 4750 Y.T. That was about 850 solar years ago. But that wouldn't mean any more to you than 2003 means to me. And anyway, who the fuck cares?

I was using the expressions I've seen others use, like a good linguist does. Doesn't matter to me if it was from 2003 if people are still using it. . . whenever 2003 was.

But why is that disorienting to you? And wait, you think the fantasy bullshit is cool? I thought you thought it was just bullshit.
