[Henry stands with the sea stretching out behind him, wearing a frown on his face. His tone of voice is sharp and his words are direct.]

Guardsmen, report in. Tell me what pieces of this splintered city surround you and who is with you on your island.

[He keeps it short. The sooner they work out who is where, the better, and this
is the quickest means of finding out.]

[ Drake appears with absolutely nothing behind him, reason being that he's climbed the watchtower on his island to get a better view of things. ]

I did a full loop of my island already, it's got spires 1 and 4, the original houses, the imported houses, Fear and Hope's temples, the colosseum and the clinic. From up here it looks this island might be the biggest but we're so spread out it's hard to tell.

Hopefully every island got some guardsmen, but this one's going to be hit really hard when the Door opens next. I might know somebody who can get people over here if we need help?

[Nick chimes in on this one as he makes a list of who and what seems to be where.]

Get in touch with whoever you've got who can get people over there. We should have some time before the Door opens again, but we want to make sure the area is covered. No caves or deserts we can chase whatever else comes through into.

[Which means a lot of monsters on one island. Fingers crossed it's nothing like deathclaws again.]

If whatever comes in this time can fly it might be okay to be spread out, but I can count on one hand the things I've seen here that do. And it's always better to pick off as many as we can right away anyway. No tunnels, no desert... I doubt they'll go into the water on their own so we'll have to just kill everything.

I'll make the call. Can you get me names of people willing to hop over for arrivals? It's gonna take some organization.

No problem. Once we figure out who's where I guess splitting up patrol within those groups is the next thing? At least it doesn't seem like any monsters came with us.

Yeah. We got lucky if nothing came with us.

[But he doesn't want to give some of the more troublesome people any ideas.]

If it turns out we've got an island that's undermanned, I'll let you know. We need to make sure we've got everywhere covered, but a headcount comes first.

Okay. I'll keep watching this post, see if I can't meet up with whoever else wound up here.

Sorry, I don't think anybody who can island hop would appreciate their name being broadcast right now. They'd turn into a taxi service.

I meant Lup, though now that I'm thinking about it there are a few other people who can probably do it too. Magic users that can teleport with passengers. It's not an unlimited resource but she's the most powerful one I've met... so if we group people up I bet she could manage it same day.

I know her not.

[But it's enough for him that Drake sounds confident in his belief.]

Yet if Curufin's boats are not ready in time, her assistance should be sought.
