Or sooner. With my abilities it is no issue to travel to them, and I will likely do it on my own before too long, so I do not mind reporting back if I find anything of note.

If the human has never heard of oxygen before, then he will likely only be more confused if he starts talking about chemicals and elements. The ice alien tilts his head.]

... It is, ah. A component of nature produced by plants that is found in air and water. It is important to many processes of the body, including breathing. You humans are not able to filter it from water, hence your inability to breathe when submerged, but I can. It is part of why I am able to traverse the ocean so easily.
