( It's been a while, not only since Kate's addressed the city by video, but since the city's seen her in full, vibrant pink haired glory. God, she misses paying for hair dye with money like a normal person. God favours are a pain. But that did happen, and her hair returned to its customary hue sometime before everyone's limbs got chopped off or their senses disappeared.

But she appears calm, collected, and just a smidgen over this city divided in four nonsense when she speaks. )

First things first - Clinic's on the island with the Colosseum. Supplies are alright. Gonna get transported to other islands soon as possible. Anyone who can heal or do first aid who isn't part of the clinic let us know your location if anyone needs help.

( But most importantly: ) Don't be stupid. Our assistance is limited for now.

Lance is checking with the guardsmen there. Guard headquarters is a good bet, but talk to him.

The Clinic's separation from the Guard's center of operations is regrettable, madam. However, both organizations' members have consistently shown that they are able and willing to adapt in light of new circumstances. I am sure things will return to normal once there are boats to assist us with transport.

Advantages, too. Separation means we don't lose both in an attack. Clinic'll have branches on each island once we have transport.

Our only problem will be ensuring that everyone is made aware of each branch's location. We must also consider the potential likelihood of the west island being overrun by the creatures that accompany the next group of newcomers.

[They may need to make preparations to evacuate everyone from the island if things get out of hand, depending largely on the size and ferocity of the creatures that appear on the day. He fears the island will become uninhabitable before long, increasing the hazards involved in rescuing new arrivals for months to come.]

I believe the Guard are in the process of drawing them up as we speak. When transport becomes available, the archipelago will be charted with greater accuracy.
