[ Will doesn't have a boat, not even one that he could spruce up a little bit. Maybe the people on the Island he's stranded on took them all before he started looking? What he does have, however, is an old boat engine, yes that's right, a genuine boat engine he's fixed up and into working order. ]

Hows that song go again? I got the cards but not the luck. I got the wheel but not the truck- or eh, well, I got the engine but not the boat in this case.

[ It was what seemed like almost a whole year ago now since Will received the item from home. Miriam Day was the one who found it and returned it back to him, Will had been tinkering with it since then, managed to fix it up pretty nicely. Now hopefully he could put it to some good use. ]

I er, I need a boat. I'm on the West most Island, where the Colosseum and Hope and Fear's temples are. I cant find all of my animals over here and believe they might have gotten themselves scattered during the shift...

[ So far, Will had only managed to round up about half of the 14 Fenic Fox he'd rescued prior to the City relocating. Needless to say, it was stressing him out. ]

I can help fit this engine to the boat, make it go faster. In exchange for a little boat trip across all four Islands, that is. I'm not bothered about it after that, you can keep the engine.

I er, I adopted well, most of the Fennic Foxes that arrived here a while back.

I had about 14 in total- eh no sorry, 12. I have 7 of them at home with me now but the rest are missing.

There's a lot of newcomers piling in, a lot of upheaval and unrest, I don't trust enough people here to be honest if they have seen them or not. What would you do? Kill one and eat it or return it to its caretaker?

[Hannibal is still wondering if this isn't all some kind of psychosis break. Seeing Will is... interestingly, a relief. Then again they are friends, are they not? The best and closest friends could likely be, with such an honesty and understanding between them.

[ Will freezes upon hearing that familiar voice. The voice that for such a long time now, has been the one he hears in his internal narration. The voice that echoes in his muddled and troubled mind.

Slipping fingers underneath his glasses, pressing against his eyes to rub them awake, making sure he wasn't hallucinating...Again. Was he really seeing Hannibal's face? Was he really here? ]

... Hannibal?

[ Give him a moment, this is such a surprise for Will to handle all of a sudden. It's been months since he last saw you, he can't be sure this isn't just his damaged mind spilling out into reality again. ]

I eh... I'm not sure which one has manifested the other... I've seen you around, here and there, in shadows and the corner of my eye...

[The confused look is one he's familiar with seeing on Will's face, and his smile becomes less subtle as he watches his good friend grapple with the situation. It's easy to assume that this Will is the one he's left only just briefly, although- not quite right. There are subtle differences, in the stubble, in the hair, in the quality of his very skin.

Hannibal runs through a whole diagnosis of why he might see Will differently, if he can't quite accept this isn't the same Will. He's fully aware of the idea of alternate universes and dimensions but accepting you are in one of those, that wasn't as easy as understanding the concept.]

When you are aware you are in a dream, you may ask yourself who the dreamer is. Am I in yours, or you in mine? Then again, if we can't wake ourselves up, perhaps it doesn't matter so much.

[Hannibal thinks about this for a moment.]

I should like to spend some time in your dreams, Will. They would surely be fascinating.

[ It won't take Will long to notice the small differences in Hannibal either. He was always the victim of an over observant mind. Noticing every little detail from the whites of Hannibal's eyes, the length of his hair, the small fine lines that cracked through the skin in the space above his cheeks and below his eyes. Though, that is if Will is able to look Hannibal in the face long enough to be distracted by such small, quaint details.

The Hannibal he had known for a few months here, had in fact been slightly from Will's future, around the same time and space as Abigail. It was Will who was behind, yet he still wore the scar across his abdomen, a constant reminder of betrayal and sorrow, however fuzzy his memory was of that night. Hannibal's voice broke his pondering once more, and Will obediently listened, waiting his turn to break the silence. ]

This is more like a coma if anything. Just can't seem to wake up, though I'm fully aware of what I'm doing. We're both trapped, Hannibal, neither of us are in control here... I'm sure that's unsettling for you of all people to realize.

[ A slight smirk, simply at the thought of Hannibal not having the domination or sovereignty he's used to. ]

Heh, though I sleep I'll never dream... I don't do too much dreaming these days... And when I do, they're often not very tasty.

[ Still haunted by nightmares, night sweats and sleepwalking, though his encephalitis is all but cured. Perhaps that nightmare stag would show it's ugly head again, now that the Doctor has returned? ]
